Gargano continued his attack with the chair, relentlessly striking Waller. He then put the chair around Waller's head, swinging and striking it with another chair. Gargano locked in his submission move, the GargaNo Escape, and Waller was forced to tap out, resulting in Gargano's victory. ## WINNER: Johnny Gargano ## NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Kiana James and Fallon Henley Vs Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn ## The match has begun, and Fallon starts off with a fierce bulldog to Dawn, nearly pinning her down. Fallon then proceeds to apply a front face lock. Alba steps in, tripping Fallon, but Isla shoots her a disapproving look. Fyre follows up with a knee drop to the back of Fallon's head, almost getting a pinfall. Isla tags in, performing a tarantula submission move, and Alba adds a kick to the mix. Isla manages to get a near fall and keeps Fallon in a front face lock. Fallon, however, blocks a suplex attempt, allowing Alba to tag in and try for a sunset flip. Despite this, Fallon stays on her feet, and Isla comes in with a kick, but Alba still manages to get a close pinfall. Finally, Alba rushes towards Fallon with a running shoulder in the corner. ## As Alba rushes towards Fallon, she runs straight into her opponent's boot, causing her to stagger back. Alba retaliates with a headbutt, and both competitors fall to the mat. Kiana steps in, tagging herself, and takes down Alba and Isla with a series of fierce forearms. Kiana proceeds to land kicks on Isla, who is cornered, but Alba stops Kiana's backflips. Kiana then runs Alba into the corner, sending Isla tumbling to the floor. James climbs the turnbuckle and performs a daring moonsault off the apron, landing on both women. Kiana climbs to the top rope and flips over Alba, performing a belly-to-back suplex and nearly getting a pinfall. Kiana follows up with an Irish whip, but Alba counters with a kick. Kiana retaliates with a spinebuster, almost securing a victory. ## Fallon tags in and manages to block Alba's thrust kick. She follows up with a series of punches and a face plant. Fallon then applies a waist lock, but Alba counters with a back elbow. Isla takes advantage of the distraction caused by Alba and grabs Fallon, allowing Alba to choke her in the corner. ## Dawn then tags in and lands a series of forearms on Fallon. Alba tags in and Fallon pushes Isla into the ropes, causing Alba to fall to the floor. Fallon follows up with a blockbuster and nearly gets a pinfall. Dawn knocks Kiana off the apron, allowing Alba and Dawn to execute a Gory Bomb and flatliner combination, almost pinning Fallon. Isla then sends Kiana to the floor. Alba places Fallon on the turnbuckles, but Kiana pulls Dawn to the floor and tags in, managing to lift Alba up. Fallon hits a missile dropkick, while Kiana executes a powerbomb. However, Dawn breaks up the pinfall attempt. ## Kiana lands a kick, and then asks Brooks for her bag. Josh and Fallon try to dissuade her, but she insists. However, Dawn strikes Kiana with a kick, while Fyre takes care of Fallon. Dawn follows up with a lungblower, and Fyre performs a swanton bomb, pinning Kiana for the three-count. ## WINNERS: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (new champions) ## NXT Men’s Championship: Bron Breakker Vs Carmelo Hayes (with Trick Williams) ## Bron and Hayes lock up, with Bron backing Hayes into the corner, but Hayes manages to slip away. They lock up again, and Hayes applies a waist lock, but Bron breaks free and sends Hayes to the mat with a waist lock of his own. Bron backs Hayes into the turnbuckles and barks at him, but Hayes escapes to the apron, asking Bron to back up. Bron responds by slingshotting Hayes back into the ring, but Hayes recovers with a dropkick. ## Hayes follows up with a side headlock, but Bron counters with a shoulder tackle. Bron misses a clothesline, and Hayes attempts a springboard move, but slips in the ropes. Bron mocks him before executing a Frankensteiner and a Gator roll into a suplex, getting a near fall with a moonsault. Bron applies a front face lock and executes a suplex. ## Hayes counters with a drop toe hold that sends Bron into the turnbuckles, and follows up with kicks. Hayes continues to target Bron's shoulder with kicks and chops. Bron misses a chop, and Hayes capitalizes with a springboard clothesline for a near fall, followed by an arm bar. Bron counters with a roll-up for a near fall, and then Hayes hits an Irish whip and chop into the corner, still focusing on Bron's shoulder. ## Bron counters with an Irish whip and hip toss, followed by a shoulder tackle. Bron applies an arm bar and executes several forearms to the lower back before attempting a belly-to-back suplex, getting a near fall. Bron tries for another belly-to-back suplex, but Hayes holds on to the ropes. Bron attempts a Torture Rack, but Trick pulls Hayes to the apron, interrupting the match. ## Bron locks in the Steiner Recliner and Hayes eventually taps out, but unfortunately, the referee is not conscious in the ring to see it. Trick takes advantage of the situation and hits Bron in the back with the title belt. He then puts Hayes on top of Bron, attempting to score the win, but he can only get a near fall when Bron kicks out. Bron manages to catch Hayes on a springboard move, but Hayes counters with a Codebreaker. Hayes seizes the opportunity and climbs up to the top rope, hitting Nothing But Net for the three count and the victory. ## WINNER: Bron Breakker (new champion) ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

WWE WrestleMania 39 (Night 1 & 2) Results: Winners, Matches, Venue, Attendance

WWE WrestleMania 39, also known as WrestleMania Goes Hollywood took place over two nights on April 1st and 2nd, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The event was originally planned for WrestleMania 37's location before the COVID-19 pandemic caused its relocation. The hosts for the event were wrestler The Miz and rapper Snoop Dogg. ## WrestleMania 39 marked the sixth time the event was held in Greater Los Angeles and the seventh time in the state of California overall. The event also saw Triple H take over creative control for the first time after Vince McMahon's retirement as Chairman and CEO of the company in July 2022. Although McMahon returned as Executive Chairman in January 2023, this did not affect Triple H's position. Additionally, WrestleMania 39 was the first to be livestreamed on Binge in Australia. After the event, on April 3rd, it was announced that the McMahon family had sold the company to Endeavor, making it the last WrestleMania under their ownership. ## The card featured a total of 15 matches, with eight on Night 1 and seven on Night 2. The main event for Night 1 saw Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeat The Usos to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship and end their record-setting title reign of 622 days. This was the first time a tag team championship match was the main event of a WrestleMania, and only the second time a tag team match had been the main event, with the first being WrestleMania I in March 1985. Other notable matches included Seth "Freakin" Rollins defeating Logan Paul, Rhea Ripley defeating Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women's Championship, and Austin Theory defeating John Cena in the opening bout to retain Raw's United States Championship. ## Pat McAfee made his in-ring return, and Snoop Dogg made his WWE in-ring debut, both winning impromptu matches against The Miz on Night 1 and Night 2, respectively. The main event for Night 2 saw Roman Reigns defeat Cody Rhodes to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, making him the second wrestler after Hulk Hogan to enter three consecutive WrestleManias as world champion during the same reign and the only wrestler to defend a world championship at each. Other notable matches included Edge defeating "The Demon" Finn Bálor in a Hell in a Cell match, Gunther retaining SmackDown's Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus and Drew McIntyre in a triple threat match, and Brock Lesnar defeating Omos in the opening bout. Night 2 also saw the return of Shane McMahon, who last appeared at the 2022 Royal Rumble. ## Critics generally praised the event, particularly the Snoop Dogg match against The Miz, the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match, the Hell in a Cell match, the Men's WrestleMania Showcase fatal four-way tag team match, Logan Paul vs. Seth "Freakin" Rollins, the six-woman tag team match, and Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio. However, while the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match was also well-received, critics criticized its ending for being pointless and unnecessary. ## Night 1 Attendance: 80,497 ## Night 2 Attendance: 81,395 ## Combined Attendance: 161,892 ## WWE WrestleMania 39 (Night 2) Results No.ResultMatch TypeTime 1. WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 Results: Winners, Matches, Venue, Attendance

Elimination Chamber will be WWE's next big event following the 2023 Royal Rumble event. The 2023 Elimination Chamber will be the 13th Elimination Chamber event and will air live on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. ## Additionally, it will be the first Elimination Chamber event to be held in Canada, and the second to take place outside of the United States, after the 2022 event. This also marks the first major WWE event to be held in Montreal since Breaking Point in September 2009. ## The Elimination Chamber match is the main event of the night and features six wrestlers, with two starting the match and four being locked in pods that are suspended above the ring. At set intervals, one of the pod wrestlers is released into the match, until all six wrestlers are participating. The match is won by the last wrestler remaining in the ring. The Elimination Chamber match can be contested for a championship or a future championship opportunity. ## The event is all set to kick off some of the never-seen-before matches in WWE history. First, Sami Zayn will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Currently, Sami Zayn is receiving some of the biggest pops in WWE and Roman Reigns himself is an event maker. So, with a combined review, I am predicting this one to be the top match of the night. ## Plush, Austin Theory will defend his WWE United States Title against Seth Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Damian Priest, and Montez Ford in An Elimination Chamber match for the WWE United States Championship. Sami Zayn Reveals On How The Story With Roman Reigns Actually Began

Sami Zayn has emerged as one of the top names in WWE. His current run as the ‘Honorary Uce’ of The Bloodline faction has worked incredibly. ## Sami officially joined "The Bloodline On the September 23 edition of SmackDown, where Reigns declared Sami an official honorary uce and gave him a new shirt. At Survivor Series WarGames on November 26, Zayn along with the Bloodline, defeated the team of The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch), Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens in a WarGames match. ## Sami recently spoke with Peter Rosenberg and revealed on how the story with Roman Reigns actually began. ## “I won’t pull the curtain back too much, but the idea was kicked around about a year ago, a good six months before the seeds were even planted on screen. The first time I think there was any interaction between myself and the Bloodline was just after WrestleMania. In actuality, the idea was first discussed going into Survivor Series of last year. ## I was doing this whole thing on SmackDown where I was the longest-tenured member as the locker room leader. I thought it’d be something interesting with the locker room leader and Head of the Table. The premise being, the Head of the Table isn’t in the locker room anymore. I wasn’t originally envisioning being a full member of the Bloodline or anything like that, just something to where Roman and I can occasionally get on screen together in a light-hearted way, and I’m giving him these reports of what’s going on and what he needs to be careful for. Every once in a while, I get things kicked my way too. That was sort of the idea.” ## When asked if this was something he had pushed for. ## “It was talked about with Roman as well. We were sitting at catering one day, and I heard an interview that he did with Ariel Helwani where he was very kind towards me and saying nice things about me as an on-screen character and that he’d like to do something down the road with me one day. We got to talking and I don’t remember exactly how it went, but it was a mutual thing.” ## H/T: Ringside News ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
