Kangana Ranaut Announces Release Date Of 'Emergency' As She Wraps Shoot
Mumbai, January 24 - Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut has wrapped up the entire filming of her ambitious biographical drama film Emergency. Based on the 1977 Indian Emergency, the movie stars Ranaut as former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. ## Directed by Kangana herself, "Emergency" has been confirmed to release in theaters on October 20, 2023. Apart from Kangana as Indira Gandhi, the movie also stars Anupam Kher as Jayaprakash Narayan, Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Mahima Chaudhary as Pupul Jayakar, Indira Gandhi's close confidante, Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, and Satish Kaushik as Jagjivan Ram. ## The music of the film is composed by national awardee G.
