VT13: Manushi Chhillar Joins Varun Tej In Hindi-Telugu Bilingual Movie

Mumbai, March 3 - Former Miss World and actress Manushi Chhillar has joined the cast of Telugu actor Varun Tej-fronted aerial action drama film, tentatively titled "VT 13" based on the Indian Air Force.## "VT 13" is a Telugu-Hindi bilingual movie, which marks Tej's debut in Hindi while Manushi's Telugu debut. Netflix's 'Baahubali - Before The Beginning' Is Not Shelved!

Mumbai, January 31 - Netflix took a giant step to lure the Indian audiences by announcing the two-season prequel series of SS Rajamouli's all-time blockbuster feature "Baahubali", back in 2018. The streaming giant collaborated with Arka Mediaworks to produce the series with Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru to direct. ## The first season of the prequel series, titled "Baahubali: Before The Beginning" was directed by Katta using sets in Hyderabad. However, Netflix was reportedly not happy with the finished project, which led to the cancellation of the show, reports Variety. It was later reported that the show went through casting changes other than directors, including one who had directed two previous Netflix projects. ## However, despite months of preparation and planning, Netflix couldn't reach the final outcome of the show, which led to the speculation that the streamer has shelved the project. It was reported that the continuous delay in production cost Netflix a whopping Rs. 150 crores loss. ## While it is true that "Baahubali: Before The Beginning" is currently not in production, unlike speculations and reports, it is not shelved. According to Variety, the show is now being reevaluated, and will now begin only after proper planning to bring the best version of this story. ## "'Baahubali: Before the Beginning' is one of the country's most loved IPs (but) creating India's first epic series comes with its own challenges", the source told Variety. Hyderabad, August 25, 2021: Superstar Nagarjuna-led Bangaraju has started filming today in Hyderabad. The actor team up with his son Naga Chaitanya in this prequel to the 2016 supernatural drama film, Soggade Chinni Nayana. The father-son duo teaming up together for the second time after the fantasy-drama film, Manam (2014). ## Bangaraju also stars Ramya Krishna and Uppena fame Krithi Shetty in the female lead. Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna have appeared together in several films and they were captivated with their beautiful chemistry in Soggade Chinni Nayana. Lady Superstar Nayanthara To Make Her Hindi And OTT Debut With Netflix Show, Bahubali: Before The Beginning!

The show was earlier being directed by South Indian filmmakers Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru and shot with Mrunal Thakur as young Sivagami. However, things didn't turn out the way it was visualized. Mumbai, July 2, 2021: SS Rajamouli's Baahubali film series was so successful that it inspired streaming giant Netflix to make a prequel to Baahubali - The Beginning (2015). Titled Baahubali: Before the Beginning, the Telugu languages web series is based on Anand Neelakantan's 2017 and 2020 novels The Rise of Sivagami, Chaturanga, and Queen of Mahishmathi. ## Earlier, the series was being directed by Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru, however, Netflix reportadly scrapped the project after 80 percent of the shoot got completed as they weren't impressed with the content. The series, which follows the journey of Sivagami's rise to power in the Mahishmati kingdom, has now been re-worked with a new team. ## As per the latest development, Netflix has started pre-production work on Baahubali Before The Beginning. Jannat fame Kunal Deshmukh and The Girl On the Train fame Ribhu Dasgupta are said to be on board to direct the series. ## Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi, who has also featured in the Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam language films, will be playing the lead role of Sivagami in this periodic, replacing Mruanl Thakur.
