Mumbai, October 19 - Actress and entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra has filed a defamation case of Rs. 50 crores against actress Sherlyn Chopra, according to a report by India Today. ## Chopra had earlier filed a sexual harassment case against businessman Raj Kundra and recently slapped another case against Shilpa and Raj with the Mumbai Police, accusing the duo of sexually and mentally harassing her. ## In response to Chopra's allegations, the husband-wife duo called her allegations fake, frivolous, and baseless without any evidence and in return, they slapped defamation case for maligning their image. ## "The entire allegations made by Ms. Sherlyn Chopra against Mr. Raj Kundra and Ms. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, are concocted, false, fake, frivolous, baseless, without any evidence, even to Ms. Sherlyn Chopra’s knowledge, and have been made with an ulterior motive to defame and extort money", read the statement issued by Shilpa and Raj, according to India Today. ## Sherlyn Chopra had earlier said that Raj Kundra and his firm's creative director repeatedly followed her to work for the mobile application named 'HotShots'. Mumbai, August 2, 2021: Bollywood actress and social media influencer, Shilpa Shetty Kundra has spoken out on the ongoing pornography controversy. The actress releases an official statement days after the arrest of her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, in an alleged case of pornographic content production and distribution by the Mumbai Police. ## In the statement released by Mrs. Kundra, she urged everyone to respect her privacy and asked everyone not to pass any judgment on her. She also blasted the 'media trail', claiming that she and her family have always followed the law. ## "Yes! The past few days have been challenging, on every front", the statement read. "There have been a lot of rumours and accusations. A lot of unwarranted aspersions on me cast by the media and (not so) well-wishers as well. A lot of trolling/questions posed… not only to me but also to my family". ## "MY STAND… I HAVE NOT COMMENTED YET and will continue to refrain from doing so on this case as it is subjudice, so please stop attributing false quotes on my behalf. Reiterating my philosophy of, as a celebrity "Never complain, never explain". All I will say is, as it's an ongoing investigation, I have full faith in the Mumbai Police & the Indian judiciary", she added. ## "As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies. But, till then I humbly request you – especially as a MOTHER – to respect our privacy for my children's sake and request you to refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying the veracity of the same.
