While the discussions are still at a preliminary stage, the actor is believed to be intrigued by the story's premise and has expressed interest in hearing a full script narration in the coming months. ## The project in question will be produced by Salman's sister, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and her husband, Atul Agnihotri's banner, Reel Life Productions. It is said to be a more commercially oriented script of Mahesh Narayanan, who is best known for acclaimed Malayalam films like "Take Off," "CU Soon," and "Malik". ## Meanwhile, Salman Khan will be playing Colonel B. Chennai, November 30 - Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan has taken a giant step towards becoming the next big star in Tamil cinema with his latest war action drama film Amaran which has emerged as the biggest Tamil blockbuster of the year and one of the biggest in recent times. ## Released on October 31, the Rajkumar Periasamy's directorial has bossed the box office, grossing approximately 325 crores worldwide in 30 days so far. It is the second highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 after Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All-Time. ## Amaran has benefitted from the extended theatrical window which has been normalized to just 4 weeks by the industry. The blockbuster run of the film prompted the makers to extend the window by 1 more week and it will now arrive after 35 days which is the first for a recent Tamil title. ## On Saturday (November 30), Netflix announced that Amaran would start streaming from December 5, which is 35 days after the theatrical release. Chennai, November 19 - Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan's biographical war action drama Amaran has entered the 300 crore club at the worldwide box office, becoming only the 8th Tamil movie of all time to achieve the milestone. ## The Rajkumar Periasamy's directorial venture topped the milestone on its 20th day (third Tuesday) as the total worldwide collection is expected to be around 301+ crores gross, including 224+ crores gross domestically and 77+ crores at the overseas box office. ## Amaran is the second Tamil movie after Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All-Time and 8th Indian title of 2024 to hit the box office milestone of 300 crores gross. Chennai, November 16 - Sivakarthikeyan's mega-blockbuster Amaran has unlocked one more milestone as it has become the second Tamil movie of 2024 to top 200 crores gross collection at the domestic box office after Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All-Time. ## The movie, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, crossed the milestone on its 16th day after grossing another 4+ crores on the day. Chennai, November 4 - The biographical war action drama Amaran has had a sensational first weekend at the domestic and worldwide box office, exceeding expectations by a long margin. The movie is proving to be a game changer for actor Sivakarthikeyan whose rise over the last few years has been noteworthy. ## Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran grossed around 25 crores domestically in India on Sunday, which took its total collection to approximately 95.50 crores in 4 days, making it the biggest domestic grosser for the actor. Chennai, July 17 - Actor Sivakarthikeyan's much-awaited biographical war action film Amaran, based on the book series, India's Most Fearless by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, has been confirmed to hit the big screens on October 31, 2024, in multiple Indian languages.## Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran is the biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan (played by Sivakarthikeyan), a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. Mukund Varadarajan was posthumously awarded Ashoka Chakra for his actions during a counterterrorism operation.## The movie is produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Sony Pictures Films India, and it also stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead alongside Bhuvan Arora, and Rahul Bose, among others.## Amaran will be released on the occasion of the Diwali festival on October 31 and will clash with multiple other films in different languages. Chennai, January 15 - Tamil star SivaKarthikeyan is in red hot form with the blockbuster success of "Doctor". The supremely talented actor has announced his maiden collaboration with superstar Kamal Haasan's production house Raj Films and Sony Pictures Films India for a Tamil film. ## The yet-untitled film will be written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. While the details about the plot are kept under wraps, the announcement poster has made fans speculate that the film will be a period drama.
