The actor is gearing up for the much-anticipated Border 2, Lahore 1947, and the epic saga Ramayana: Part One and Two, each carrying immense box office potential and promising to extend Sunny's winning streak. ## Having recently wrapped up the shoot of Border 2, Sunny is all set to begin filming for Ramayana in the coming weeks. Amidst this packed schedule, a new report from Pinkvilla confirms that the actor has signed yet another major film, this time with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. ## Sunny Deol and the Excel team have reportedly been in talks for a while regarding a high-octane, big-budget action thriller. The report says the things are almost finalised, marking the first-ever collaboration between Sunny Deol and Excel Entertainment. The film is being touted as a high-concept project that blends mass appeal with scale and cinematic innovation. ## The film in question will mark the directorial debut of Balaji, who has worked on several Tamil blockbusters as an assistant and associate director. Box Office: 'Andaz Apna Apna' Re-Release First 2 Days Collection

Mumbai, April 27 - Superstars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan's cult classic Andaz Apna Apna was re-released this weekend. In the first 2 days, the movie has collected a little over 50 lakh net collection, almost the same as the recently re-released Karan Arjun. ## The Rajkumar Santoshi's directorial comedy scored approximately 20 lakh net collection on its first day and around 35 crores net on Saturday, for around 55 lakh collection in the first 2 days. Interestingly, the collection so far is almost identical to the first 2 days' total of the film's original run. ## In recent times, there have been a few re-release titles which performed much better than Andaz Apna Apna, and considering that, the collection of this film is low. The makers did promote the film through social media, but it didn't work in its favour. ## Andaz Apna Apna minted approximately 5.15 crores net during its original run back in 1994, and this collection is unlikely to be matched by the repeat run. Sunny Deol's 'Ghatak' Gears Up For Re-Release

Mumbai, February 14 - The re-release trend in Bollywood is going strong with a couple of cult classics being readied for their big-screen re-launch. This formula is working well for the industry as a few films have turned into big success including the latest blockbuster re-release, Sanam Teri Kasam. ## Recently, it was confirmed that superstars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan's iconic comedy Andaz Apna Apna, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, would be re-released in April this year. Now, Santoshi's one more cult classic, Ghatak, starring Sunny Deol is gearing up for re-launch. ## According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, the iconic action drama, which was a huge success in its original release in 1996, will be re-released in cinemas across the country on February 28. This is a tentative date which might change and the decision for the same is expected to be taken in a few days. ## In its original run, Ghatak earned approximately 26.50 crores gross collection worldwide and was the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year. The film is remembered for its dialogues which emerged cult over the years and Sunny Deol's towering performance. Mumbai, February 12 - Amid the huge success of Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release at the box office, now superstars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan's iconic comedy entertainer Andaz Apna Apna making its way back to the big screens after more than 3 decades later. ## Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film has been announced to be re-released in theatres in April this year. Aamir Khan To Do A Superhero Movie With Director Lokesh Kanagaraj

Mumbai, October 14 - Over the last couple of months, the trade is buzzing with the potential maiden collaboration between Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj. While Aamir has confirmed to play a cameo in Lokesh's Coolie starring Rajinikanth, the duo has also been in the news for a full-fledged film. ## It was recently reported that Aamir and Lokesh have been in talks for quite some time now and that things were progressing in the right direction. Aamir is also producing Santoshi's Lahore 1947 which stars Sunny Deol in the lead role. ## According to Pinkvilla, Aamir and Rajkumar Santoshi have been in talks for a while now and they have finally picked a subject which is said to be an out-and-out comic caper, set against the backdrop of time-loop and it will be headlined by Aamir. ## The report further states that the movie in question also has a working title, Char Din Ki Zindagi which is in sync with the hilarious concept of the film, wherein the life of the protagonist is stuck in a time loop. ## Char Din Ki Zindagi is expected to be Aamir's immediate next film after currently on floors, Sitaare Zameen Par which is scheduled to hit the big screens early next year. After scripting box office history with Gadar 2, Sunny recently announced his maiden collaboration with the Telugu director a mass entertainer, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. ## The shoot of the film kicked off on June 22 in Hyderabad, and according to the report by Pinkvilla, the movie has been titled, Jatt. "The team has derived the title from the script as Sunny Deol's character has the traits of being a Jatt.
