Box Office Prediction of Kartik Aaryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' And Kangana Ranaut-Starrer 'Dhaakad'

Mumbai, May 19 - The struggle of Bollywood at the box office has been there for anyone to see. While other film industries are giving hits after hits, it is the Hindi film industry that is going through a dull phase post pandemic. Apart from a couple of films, all other Bollywood movies since last year have struggled to get good numbers at the box office. ## One of the major concerns for Bollywood is that their movies aren't opening to good numbers which used to be a cakewalk before the pandemic. Despite the star power, films like "Runway 34", "Jayeshbahi Jordaar", "Attack", and "Heropanti 2" failed to get the initials that have shocked the industry and made them think. However, the upcoming releases have reignited some hope and there is a positive vibe among the industry people. ## Kartik Aaryan's long-awaited horror-comedy "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" is opening this Friday and it seems to be the film to bet big at the moment. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the movie is the sequel to one of the best horror-comedy movies ever made in Bollywood - Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was released in 2007 and featured Akshay Kumar. ## "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", which also stars Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav in key roles, has created a decent amount of buzz. The advance booking, which was opened a couple of days ago, is among the best for this year and have already crossed 4 crores. As compared to the likes of "Gangubai Kathiawadi" and "Bachchhan Paadney", BB2 is expected to take the double-digit opening at the box office. Only "Bachchan Pandey" and "Gangubai Kathiawadi" have been able to take the opening of 10+ crores this year and BB2 is most likely to be the 3rd on the list. It is currently tracking to open between 9-11 crores. ## Along with "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", Kangana Ranaut-fronted "Dhaakad" is also releasing this Friday. Touted as one of the best female-led spy action-thriller movies in India, "Dhaakad" has been able to find itself in media headlines and makers seem to be confident about its success at the ticket window. ## Helmed by Razneesh Ghai in his directorial debut, "Dhaakad" is full of high-octane action sequences which will surely be liked by the mass audience. The advance booking for the same was opened just two days ahead of the release and is low as compared to that of BB2. Also starring Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta, the movie should be able to open between 3-4 crores. The numbers could go higher if it gets good word of mouth, and then the weekend will be solid.## One of the best things about both, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" and "Dhaakad" is that both films are going ahead with affordable ticket prices which wasn't the case with most of the recent movies. We Should Be Scared of The American Film Industry: Kangana Ranaut

Mumbai, May 13 - Bollywood queen, Kangana Ranaut is busy promoting her upcoming spy action thriller movie, "Dhaakad", which is scheduled to release on May 20th in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The actress recently visited the Capital along with co-actors Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, producer Deepak Mukut and director Razneesh Ghai to promote the movie.## Kangana, during the media interaction, shared her perspective about South films doing well and getting a good response from the audience in comparison to Bollywood films. She said that it is important for Indian cinema that regional movies do well all over the country and prevent Hollywood movies from taking over. ## "I have been the biggest cheerleader for South Indian films. If you see, I was the first one to start the topic of "our regional cinema should do well. We all should do something by coming together to save our screens from Hollywood or international films, because the Italian, French and German, and English film industries have single-handedly destroyed everyone. We must promote South, Malayalam, Kannada, or Punjabi films. Kangana Ranaut's 'Dhaakad' Producer Sohel Maklai And Director Razneesh Ghai To Reunite For A Indo-China War Film

Mumbai, November 9 - The makers of Kangana Ranaut-fronted "Dhaakad" are joining hands for a new film. While "Dhaakad" is months away from the release, producer Sohel Maklai, and director Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai have confirmed that they are teaming up for a war film that will be based on the story of Rezang La’s battle that was the sole high point for India in 1962 Indo-China war. ## Talking about the new film, Razneesh said, "It's a classic David-versus-Goliath story. The war story teaches young people the true value of the Army. The story of 120 soldiers fighting against all odds demands to be told sincerely on the big screen. It's set in the 60s, so recreating that era will take some time". ## The movie will be produced by Sohel Maklai and Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai's new company Ikigai Motion Pictures while Rajiv G Menon will pen the screenplay. Makers of Kangana's 'Dhaakad' slam 'Baaghi 3' director Ahmed Khan

Mumbai, March 11 (IANS) Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel called out 'Baaghi 3' director Ahmed Khan for making baseless statements about the former's sister's upcoming action film "Dhaakad".## In an interview with a publication, Ahmed reportedly said that female-led action films do not work and claimed that "Dhaakad" had been stalled following Ranaut's "Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi".## Responding to Ahmed's comments, Rangoli called him an "atrocious filmmaker". She also shared that Ahmed had called Kangana and even apologized to her over his remarks.## Not only this, but director Razneesh Ghai has also issued a statement rubbishing Ahmed's claim and said he is thinking of sending him a legal notice.## "Statements reported in this article by Ahmed Khan are absolutely false. A legal notice will be issued from our lawyers. The delusional statements and negativity are completely uncalled for.
