Chainsaw Man "“ The Movie: Reze Arc is a direct sequel to the first season of the anime, adapting the Bomb Girl manga arc.
The film follows Denji as he falls for a mysterious girl named Reze who works at a café. Their brief, hopeful romance quickly turns violent when Reze reveals she is a Soviet agent and the Bomb Devil, tasked with capturing Denji.
A brutal, city-wide battle ensues. After their fight, Denji asks Reze to run away with him. Reze decides to accept his offer but is intercepted and killed by Makima and the Angel Devil before she can meet him. The movie ends with Denji waiting alone at the cafe, unaware of the tragedy orchestrated by his boss.
