
Female Lead Finalizes To Star Alongside Tiger Shroff In 'Rambo' Hindi Adaptation
Mumbai, September 13 - Filmmaker Siddharth Anand has been working on the Hindi remake of Hollywood classic Rambo for a very long time. Tiger Shroff was announced to headline this high-octane actioner back in 2017, but even after 6 years, the official production is yet to commence.## In a piece of good news, it was reported last year that the production of the movie will commence by the end of 2024, and the same was later confirmed by Siddharth Anand, who will produce it under his banner Marflix. Now, according to the latest reports, the makers have finalized the female lead to star alongside Tiger Shroff in the movie.## According to Pinkvilla, the "Rambo" remake, which will be directed by Rohit Dhawan, will have Janhvi Kapoor to play the female lead role. This marks Janhvi and Tiger's maiden film together after coming close to sharing screen space in the past. The character details of Janhvi's role have been kept under wraps for now but her role is believed to be crucial to the storyline.## It is said that Tiger will undergo rigorous training under the guidance of international experts and he will be trained in weaponry and guerrilla warfare to prepare for his role as the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land. ## The shoot of the "Rambo" adaptation will commence by December this year or January 2024 after both Tiger and Janhvi finish their current commitments. The actress is currently shooting for her pan India movie "Devara" with superstar Jr. NTR under the direction of Siva Koratala.
