Writer Vijayendra Prasad Shares A Big Update On Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 and Rowdy Rathore 2

Mumbai, April 20 - Director Kabir Khan's comedy-drama Bajrangi Bhaijaan is one of the most loved films of superstar Salman Khan. Released in 2015, the movie won several accolades and was a big box office blockbuster with a worldwide gross collection of over 900 crores. ## The film was a massive success and won the hearts of the audiences with its emotional story, penned by Vijayendra Prasad. Salman Khan delivered an emotionally charged career-best performance in the film and now, there is good news regarding its long-awaited sequel. ## Over the last few years, there have been talks about Bajrangi Bhaijaan's sequel and it seems it will finally be a reality soon. During a promotional event for actor Ayush Sharma's film Ruslaan, producer KK Radhamohan said in the presence of Vijayendra Prasad that the script of BB2 is ready to which the writer agreed. ## The filmmaker further revealed that Vijayendra Prasad will narrate the script of the sequel to Salman Khan soon and if all goes well, the production will start soon. However, he noted that he isn’t producing Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.## Apart from Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, producer Radhamohan also revealed that the writer has written two stories for him, and one of them is Vikramarkudu 2, which is Rowdy Rathore 2 in Hindi. Sidharth Malhotra Rejects The Sequel To 'Rowdy Rathore'

Mumbai, April 19 - The sequel to blockbuster Rowdy Rathore is in early development as the makers are looking to cast a new actor to headline it. ## Recently, it was reported that actor Sidharth Malhotra was approached to play the leading role, and the actor reportedly showed interest to do it. Just when it looked that Rowdy Rathore 2 has found its hero, the latest reports have confirmed that Sidharth has declined the role. ## It is known to everyone that the "Ek Villain" actor is doing Rohit Shetty's cop web series "Indian Police Force" for Amazon Prime Video and reports have claimed that he rejects the blockbuster sequel for his OTT show. The actor wants to remain exclusive to Shetty's cop universe for the next two years and doesn't intend to do any other cop role. ## There has been a growing demand for "Rowdy Rathore 2" over the years and it was the perfect opportunity for Sidharth to deliver a big hit. The makers have now reportedly started approaching other actors for the role. A Sequel To Blockbuster 'Rowdy Rathore' To Be Headlined By Siddharth Malhotra: Report

Mumbai, April 11 - The franchise-based films seem to be the best bet for the Bollywood film industry at the moment. We have already witnessed the huge impact of the franchises post the covid-19 pandemic with the likes of "Drishyam 2" and "Pathaan" and there are at least 20 films in the works across different IP franchises. ## One of the most talked about films in recent times, Rowdy Rathore 2 is also in development and has been in the writing stage for a long time. The first film "Rowdy Rathore" (2012) was headlined by superstar Akshay Kumar, however, as per the latest reports, the sequel will go through major casting changes. ## According to Pinkvilla, the makers are in talks with Sidharth Malhotra to play the fierce cop in the sequel and he is said to be interested in doing the film. He is, however, still contemplating if he should play a cop role since he is already a part of Rohit Shetty Cop Universe for the digital platform. ## "The makers are looking to take the film on floors in the next 2 months as the basics are already on paper. It's just about getting a cast on board the film now. The talks are also on with a top director, who delivered a blockbuster last year, to be at the helm of the affair", Pinkvilla reports. ## Meanwhile, initially, there were plans to make "Rowdy Rathore 2" with Akshay Kumar, however, the latest reports indicate he might or might not be in the film as Sidharth is offered the role. Mumbai, August 26 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will be celebrating his 55th birthday on September 9, 2022. It hasn't been a great year for Khiladi Kumar so far but he would love to enter the 55th year of his life with a blockbuster in the form of Cuttputli, which is scheduled to premiere on September 2 on Disney Plus Hotstar. ## Though Akshay hasn't been able to create magic through his movies this year the future is looking brighter than ever with potential blockbusters in his hands. A Sequel To Akshay Kumar's Blockbuster 'Rowdy Rathore' Is In The Development

Mumbai, December 22 - A sequel to Akshay Kumar-fronted blockbuster "Rowdy Rathore" (2012) is in development and currently in the writing stage, confirms writer KV Vijayendra Prasad. "Rowdy Rathore" is considered one of the biggest blockbusters in Akshay's career, in which he played a double role as Shiva/IPS Vikram Singh Rathore. ## "Rowdy Rathore" is the remake of SS Rajamouli-directed Telugu blockbuster "Vikramarkudu", starring Ravi Teja, based on the story written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. About the sequel of RR in Hindi, Prasad told a news portal that Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who produced the film with Ronnie Screwvala, had approached him to write the next chapter of the film. ## According to ETimes, the sequel will see Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha reprising their characters of Shiva and Paro from the first installment. However, the film will reportedly not pick up from where the first part ended and will have a new story to tell. Looking at the busy schedule of Akshay, the sequel of Rowdy Rathore is expected to roll out by the end of 2022.## Meanwhile, Vijayendra Prasad is also writing the script of Salman Khan-starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.
