Mumbai, October 21 - As Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming cop-drama film "Sooryavanshi", the talks about the box office potential of the film have started making noise. In normal times, this Rohit Shetty directorial could have easily become the highest-grossing film of all time for Akshay Kumar, but because of the covid-19 pandemic, things have become uncertain so is the box office success. ## However, despite the current circumstances, the movie is expected to do very well at the box office. The recent data by Ormax media suggests that the confidence among movie lovers has increased significantly to visit cinemas for the first time in the pandemic era. The success of the country on the vaccination front has also ensured that things are getting back to normal and visiting cinemas is safe for the public.## Meanwhile, there is chatter among the biz analysts and fans regarding the box office potential of "Sooryavanshi" and how much the film could make on its first day. For Akshay Kumar, "Mission Mangal" holds the record of taking the biggest opening at the box office with Rs. 29.16 crores net in India. ## Breaking "Mission Mangal's" record may not be possible for "Sooryavanshi" as there are many factors are currently against it including the 50% seating cap in theaters. However, with out-and-out mass appealing, Sooryavanshi might come close to Akshay's second-best opening film "Gold" which earned Rs. 25.25 crores on the first day. ## The movie, however, should cross "Kesari's" opening day collection which is Rs. 21.06 crores and stands at number three in the list. There is one more film which is close to Kesari, is "Singh Is Bliing". It had earned Rs. 20.67 crores on an opening day and is currently Akshay's 4th highest first day grosser film. ## "Sooryavanshi", which also stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh as Singham and Simmba in extended cameos, should early end up between 20-25 crores on the first day, which will be a great result for the makers.## Here are Akshay Kumar's Top 5 first day grosser at the box office (Hindi) - ## 1. Mumbai, March 10 (IANS) Actress Rupali Ganguly, who is making her comeback on TV with the show "Anupama" after seven years, says her husband encouraged her to pursue her acting career all over again ##. "I would like to give huge credit to my husband for encouraging me to take up the show. I was quite happily mothering my child, so something had to be that exciting for me to step out of home. ## "When I was offered the show, my husband really pushed me and said, 'I will take care of our child and the house, you go ahead because this show will give you the chance to prove your worth as an actress'," she said. ## "My mother-in-law is 87 and it is not easy for a man to run a house when there are several responsibilities. Since it is a TV show, I am shooting for 12 to 13 hours. Staying away from my baby for so long is only possible if I know that my home and my baby are in good hands. I think by taking the whole responsibility, he made me fall in love with him again," she added. ## "Anupama" is a remake of the Bengali TV series "Sreemoyee". The story revolves around a housewife played by Rupali. Hence, I loved dancing barefoot on the heated floors of Sun Temple. Although my feet are scorched and burnt, I enjoyed so much that I couldn't feel any pain and continued giving the shot.
