Los Angeles, May 6 - Marvel Studios' summer tentpole Thunderbolts* is off to a solid start at the domestic and worldwide box office with $74.3 million and $160.4 million opening weekend, respectively. Los Angeles, April 30 - Marvel Studios' much-anticipated Thunderbolts is looking to dominate the box office after flying high with the reviews from critics. The movie is already among the top-rated Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbusters with nearly 90% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes. ## According to Deadline, the superhero movie is projected to earn $175 million in its opening weekend at the worldwide box office. Domestically (North America), the film is projected to open with $70 million - $75 million, and likely much more, while overseas, the weekend is aimed at $90 million - $100 million. ## The North America presales for Thunderbolts* stands at $12+ million (per Deadline), which is on pace with another first instalment MCU movie, 2021's Eternals ($71.2 million). Los Angeles, March 27 - The Avengers have assembled once again, 6 years after Avengers Endgame emerged as one of the biggest grossers in history, as the filming of Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday has begun. ## On Wednesday, Marvel Studios surprised everyone when it announced the cast of the upcoming film during a nearly five-and-a-half-hour live stream. It is intended to be the fourth instalment in the Captain America film series and stars Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America. ## According to the report by World of Reel, Captain America 4 initially had a budget of $275 million and was supposed to wrapped filming in 2023 itself. Anaheim, September 11 - Marvel Studios has revealed the solid star cast of its upcoming superhero movie Thunderbolts at the D23 Expo. Apart from showing footage of various upcoming Marvel titles, Marvel-head Kevin Fiege revealed Marvel's anti-hero team for "Thunderbolts", which will conclude MCU's Phase 5. ## Wyatt Russell (John Walker/US Agent), Hannah John-Kamen (Ava/Ghost), Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine) are all part of Thunderbolts, and so is Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova/Black Widow, and Olga Kurylenko's Taskmaster. ## Red Guardian, Yelena, and Taskmaster all hail from the recent "Black Widow" movie, while Ghost was last seen in "Ant-Man and The Wasp". US Agent was one of the main antagonists of "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier", which of course also starred the beloved character Bucky Barnes.## Similar to DC's "Suicide Squad", the Thunderbolts are a team of antiheroes and villains who will be tasked to work together and achieve a certain goal. Mumbai, September 13, 2021: Marvel Studios' popular and critically acclaimed superhero series, "WandaVision", which premiered on Disney Plus, scored big at the 2021 Creative Arts Emmys, presented across three ceremonies over Saturday and Sunday. ## WandaVision, which focuses on Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), won three Emmy awards including Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes, Outstanding Production Design, and Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for 'Agatha All Along'. This is the first-ever victory for Marvel Studios at the Emmys. ## WandaVision had also earned 23 Emmy nominations, making it the highest for a limited series and second-highest for a series, overall. Meanwhile, Netflix's chess-themed drama show "The Queen's Gambit" topped with 9 awards followed by "The Mandalorian" with seven Emmys. ## Another Marvel series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan was nominated for five Emmy awards. However, the show did not manage to pick up a trophy. In terms of company and platform totals from the awards handed out over all three ceremonies, Netflix leads with a total of 34 wins, followed by 13 for Disney+ and 10 for HBO/HBO Max.## Marvel Studios, which has always focussed on the big screen experience, is slowly getting into the award season. In 2018, it won three Oscars in Best Production Design, Best Original Score, and Best Costume Design for Black Panther. Los Angeles, August 19, 2021: Anthony Mackie, one of the standout actors in every Marvel movie he featured, has sealed the deal to star in Marvel Studios' "Captain America 4" film, according to Deadline. ## Mackie recently starred in Marvel's "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" series on Disney+ with Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes. However, it is not clear yet whether the movie will also feature Stan. ## Mackie played Falcon in five films beginning with Captain America: The Winter Soldier and now, he is set to carry the shield in Captain America 4 after Chris Evans (the original Captain America) got retired after Avengers Endgame.## Captain America 4 is being written by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier head writer and creator Malcolm Spellman, along with series staff writer Dalan Musson. Los Angeles, April 23 (IANS) Actor Sebastian Stan isn't clear about his future as Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).## "You know, I know nothing about that. I'm just a man. We got to figure out a couple of other missions first before we even get there," variety.com quoted Stan as saying when asked about his involvement in future "Avengers" movies.## For now, Stan teams up with Anthony Mackie, who plays Sam Wilson / Falcon in MCU, in the upcoming "Falcon And Winter Soldier" series, and says they just got to "figure out some adventures" on which they can work together. The shoot of the series is currently stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.## "I've got to deal with this other person. It's been nice to have a break from him, Anthony Mackie. It's nice to have a little quiet in this quarantine without him. But we got to figure out some adventures together first before we get there," he added.## Stan's career took off after he played Steve Rogers' best friend Barnes in "Captain America". There has been no looking back since then.## The actor says starring in "The Avengers" franchise changed your career and life.## "It was 10 years ago, in 2010, when I came in. Looking back, I feel like I had half the amount of experience and knowledge that I do now. In a way, I felt like I grew up with the franchise as a person myself and I feel like that character grew up with me as well. But I don't think any of these movies that you referenced would have been possible without it. I wouldn't be here without it," he said.## Talking about "Avengers: Endgame" becoming the most successful movie of all time, he said: "That's just wild. You don't even think about that."## "It's crazy to think it's bigger than ‘Titanic'. I went to see ‘Titanic' way too many times in the theater. It's exciting because 10 years' worth of filmmaking went into making (‘Avengers: Endgame'). The fact that people went out to see it and support it so much only shows how much they love the characters, how much they've invested in the past 10 years.
