Telugu Version Of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' Postponed

Hyderabad, January 9 - Thalapathy Vijay's much-anticipated family drama film Varisu is gearing up for its wide release on January 11. It will be clashing with Ajith Kumar's "Thunivu" at the box office and both movies are expected to take huge starts at the box office. ## Meanwhile, the Telugu version of "Varisu", titled Vaarasudu will not be released simultaneously with the original Tamil version. As announced by producer Dil Raju, "Vaarasudu" will be released on January 14 as there is still some work left to do on it. ## The official announcement regarding the "Vaarasudu" postponement was made during the press meet today with producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally. Chennai, January 8 - Thalapathy Vijay's much-awaited family entertainer Varisu will be up against Ajith Kumar's action entertainer Thunivu at the box office this Pongal. The highly anticipated films will indulge in the direct clash on January 11 and this clash is exciting the trade very much. ## The advance booking for both films has been opened and both the movies are having neck-to-neck competition at the moment though "Varisu" is having a little edge over "Thunivu" in the early numbers. Chennai, October 27 - Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally is directing a family action entertainer starring Thalapathy Vijay. The movie was believed to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie where the Tamil title is Varisu, and the Telugu title is Vaarasudu. ## Now, director Vamshi has made things clear about the language and told Tamil magazine Vikatan that "Thalapathy 66" is a proper Tamil movie that will also be dubbed into Telugu as "Vaarasudu".
