Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor's 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' Gets A New Release Date

Mumbai, March 15 - Dharma Productions' much-awaited romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is gearing up for its grand release this October. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the movie stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles, along with Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. ## The makers recently announced on social media that SSKTK will now be released in cinemas worldwide on October 2, 2025. Originally, it was scheduled to be released on April 18, before getting postponed to September, and it will be hitting the big screens on the Gandhi Jayanti holiday. ## The movie, which wrapped filming on August 22, will clash with Rishabh Shetty's much-awaited Kantara: Chapter 1. The prequel to the Kannada blockbuster Kantara is carrying very good hype in the Hindi market and is expected to be a box office juggernaut. ## SSKTK is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan under the banners of Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. Dharma Productions Announces 'Dhadak 2'; Sets Official Release Date

Mumbai, May 27 - Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has teamed up with Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures to announce the sequel of 2018's romantic thriller Dhadak. Directed by Shazia Iqbal in her directorial debut, Dhadak stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri in the leading roles. ## The official announcement of the movie was made on May 27 with a video which shows that Dhadak 2 is a story about a boy and a girl who fall in love but due to the difference their cast, they have to fight the society to love together. ## The makers have also confirmed that Dhadak 2 will be hitting theaters on November 22, 2024. ## कैसे मिलेंगे - आग और पानी? Mumbai, May 4 - Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have reunited for Dharma Productions' romantic-comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The movie is directed by Shashank Khaitan and it also stars Sanya Malhotra, Akshay Oberoi and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles. ## On Saturday (May 4), the shooting for SSKTK commenced with both Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor joining the schedule. The film is touted to be a fun-filled romantic comedy, along the lines of the Dulhania film series. It is said to be a vibrant celebration of love infused with music, larger-than-life sets, and a stellar cast. ## The first schedule of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari kicked off in Mumbai, the makers will head to Rajasthan and some other locations for the next schedules. Mumbai, April 4 - Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor reunited for filmmaker Karan Johar's romantic-comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The movie was recently announced with a release date of April 2025. ## According to a report by Peepingmoon.com, SSKTK is set to go on floors by May this year, almost a year before it debuts in theatres worldwide. It will start rolling on May 4 in Mumbai and will be shot over three months across various locations in India and overseas. ## Varun Dhawan is currently shooting for Atlee's production venture Baby John and is expected to wrap it by mid-April before kicking off Dharma's film. Mumbai, July 3 - Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra's action thriller "Yodha" has officially been postponed from September 15 by three months and will now be released on December 15, 2023, in theaters worldwide. ## "Yodha" is the first action film of the franchise headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha. A Sequel To Hit 'Dhadak' Is In The Works With Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri In The Lead

Mumbai, April 17 - A sequel to Dharma Productions' hit romantic film Dhadak is reportedly in the works with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri in the lead. It will be directed by debutante Shazia Iqbal, who has been working as a Production Designer for thirteen years in the Indian Film & Advertising Industry. ## Directed by Shashank Khaitan, "Dhadak", which was a remake of the Marathi movie "Sairat", was released in 2018 and marked the debut of Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor. The film did very well at the box office, grossing over 100 crores worldwide against a budget of approx. 30 crores. ## According to Pinkvilla, Karan Johar wants to turn "Dhadak" into a proper intense romantic franchise in which two protagonists fight society to live together as the filmmaker believes that this zone of going against all odds for love has the potential to get a franchise value.## The report further adds that after contemplating on several subjects, Karan Johar has greenlit a subject that qualifies to be a sequel to Dhadak and has roped in two very talented youngsters to headline Dhadak 2.
