Kartik Aaryan Team Up With Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor For An Epic War Drama Film; Release Date Locked

Mumbai, November 22 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has teamed up with producer Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor for an epic war drama film, to be directed by "The Night Manager" fame Sandeep Modi. This is the first collaboration between Kartik and Karan who were previously supposed to join hands for "Dostana 2". ## It is said that Kartik was regularly visiting the Dharma Productions office in the last couple of months which led to speculations about the maiden venture. Now, on the occasion of Kartik's 33rd birthday today, the yet-untitled movie has officially been confirmed by the studio with a confirmed release date of 15 August 2025. ## The film celebrates the Indian Army and is set against a backdrop not explored to date. Aseem Arora has written the script and the shoot for the same will commence in the second half of 2024. It will be produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R. Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Dream Girl 2' Tops 100 Crores Net Collection

Mumbai, September 13 - Actor Ayushmann Khurrana's social comedy-drama film Dream Girl 2 emerged a slipper success at the box office and entered the 100 crores net club in Hindi. ## Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film managed to withstand Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster "Jawan" and holdover film "Gadar 2" to make a surprise entry to the coveted 100 crores club. It topped the century mark on its 18th day as its current net collection stands at over 100.50 crores.## "Dream Girl 2" has become the 113th movie ever to top 100 crores net in Hindi. The last movie to hit this mark was "Jawan". DG2 is overall the 10th movie of 2023, including Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" to achieve this milestone. It is currently the 111th all-time highest net-grosser movie in Hindi and will likely finish its box office run at around 105 crores net. ## The film has also become the 4th movie of Ayushmann to score 100 crores net or more, and his first since "Bala" (2019). Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Dream Girl 2' CBFC Certificate And Theatrical Run Time Revealed

Mumbai, August 16 - Director Raaj Shaandilyaa and actor Ayushmann Khurrana return with the sequel to their 2019's super hit comedy-drama film "Dream Girl". Ananya Panday is the female lead this time, replacing Nushrat Bharucha from the original movie. ## "Dream Girl 2" is scheduled to release on August 25 and this is the best bet for Ayushmann Khurrana as far as the box office prospects are concerned. Meanwhile, the movie has been certified with a "U/A" certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved runtime of 2 hours and 13 minutes. (133 minutes). ## The original movie's runtime was almost similar to its predecessor with 132 minutes (2 hours and 12 minutes) while it also got a "U/A" certificate from the censor board. Directed by Nanda Kishore, who directed the hit Kannada movie "Pogaru", the film is an epic action-entertainer transcending generations. ## The makers have roped in Shanaya Kapoor and Pop Diva Zahrah S Khan to play the female lead opposite Telugu actor Roshann Meka in the movie. Anurag Kashyap And Taapsee Pannu To Reunite For A Thriller Film 'Dobaaraa'

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actress Taapsee Pannu have collaborated again for a new age thriller film, titled "Dobaaraa". It will be produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Sunir Kheterpal, and Gaurav Bose. Dobaaraa will be Kashyap and Pannu's third collaboration after 2018's hit "Manmarziyaan" and biographical drama "Saand Ki Aankh", which had Kashyap on board as producer and costarred Bhumi Pednekar. ## Watch movie announcement teaser## ## "Our vision with 'Dobara' is to bring a fresh, new story to the audience and I am very excited for it. This will be my third collaboration with Taapsee and this time the attempt is to bring an interesting new take on thrillers", Kashyap said in a statement. Taapsee said she has always enjoyed working on thrillers and with Kashyap and Ekta Kapoor behind the camera, she is all geared up for the "unique" experience.## "I have been very lucky with thriller genre in my career so far, and I always look forward to pushing the envelope under this genre. This is going to be unique more so because it’s got someone like Anurag directing it and Ekta backing it", Pannu said.## Ekta Kapoor, who is producing the movie under Cult Movies which is a new division under her Balaji Telefilms banner, said she is excited to collaborate with artists willing to push boundaries. ## "I am thrilled that Anurag is directing the first film under Cult Movies, with Taapsee in the lead.
