
A Sequel To Blockbuster 'Maanaadu' Is In The Works With Silambarasan TR And SJ Suryah!
Chennai, December 2 - Tamil movie "Maanaadu", which was released a week ago on November 25, is going bonkers at the box office as it turned out to be the best performer for actor Silambarasan TR. ## Now, director Venkat Prabhu has revealed that he has plans for the sequel of Maanaadu in a recent interview. He also confirmed that the sequel will not only feature Silambarasan TR but will also have SJ Suryah, who played DCP Dhanushkodi, back in the mix. ## Venkat Prabhu has also added that initially, the team wanted to rope in Ravi Teja to play Dhanushkodi but due to his busy schedule, SJ Suryah came on board. Suryah added that Ravi Teja has seen the Tamil version and is interested to play Dhanushkodi if the film gets remade in Telugu.## The story of the film revolves around a common man and a police officer, who is trapped in a time loop, on the day of a public conference of the chief minister and forced to live the same day over and over again. ## Maanaadu is produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner of V House Productions. It also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan in the female lead role alongside S. A. Chandrasekhar, Y. G. Mahendran, Karunakaran, Anjena Kirti, and Premgi Amaren in supporting roles.
