Jr. NTR's Much-Awaited 'Devara: Part 1' Gets Huge 170+ Crore Deal For Telugu States And North India Theatrical Rights: Report

Hyderabad, April 17 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama film Devara: Part 1 is super hot in the trade. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie is anticipated to be a big money spinner for the makers, hence, the makers are attempting to lock in the best theatrical deals for the same. ## It was recently revealed Anil Thadani's AA Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions have grabbed the North India theatrical distribution rights of the film for a handsome 50 crores. According to the latest Telugu media reports, the makers are also in the process of locking a deal for Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). ## It is said that Suryadevara Naga Vamsi's Sithara Entertainment is the frontrunner to acquire AP/TG theatrical rights and has offered 120+ crores for the same. Opening Day Box Office Prediction Of Shahid Kapoor's 'Jersey'

Mumbai, April 20 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is readying for the release of his long-awaited sports drama movie, Jersey, on April 22. The Hindi remake of the Telugu hit of the same name, Jersey, was supposed to release on April 14 itself but was postponed at the 11th hour to avoid a direct clash with Yash-fronted KGF Chapter 2', which is going all guns blazing at the box office. ## Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Jersey also stars Mrunal Thakur. The movie carries a lot of expectations as far as the box office is concerned, however, it won't be easy for it to have a smooth outing. It might have avoided a direct clash with KGF 2, but, things are still not in favor of it. ## KGF Chapter 2 is running riot at the Hindi box office, and will easily be able to retain a significant number of screens in the second week as well. Jersey, on the other hand, is expected to release on around 2000 screens. While these are enough screens for any mid-budget Bollywood film to take a healthy start, the same can't be said for Jersey, which is having low advance booking numbers with only two days to release. ## On any other day, Jersey could have taken the opening of 15-20 crores, keeping Shahid Kapoor's stardom. However, with KGF 2 being the first choice of moviegoers, Jersey, might reduce to the opening of 5-7 crores on the first day, which will be considered a decent start. The advance of the film till April 20 is around 70 lakh, which is very low. The makers are looking very confident about their product, and if it meets with the audience's expectation, then it could build upon that and score a healthy weekend of around 25-27 crores.## Shahid Kapoor's last film, Kabir Singh, was a massive blockbuster and it scored over 370 crores worldwide. However, it was released during the pre-covid time and there was no KGF-sque movie to hamper its chances. Box Office Hit 'DJ Tillu' Sets Tentative OTT Release On Aha Video

Hyderabad, February 26 - Telugu movie, "DJ Tillu", starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and Neha Shetty have enjoyed a very good run at the box office. Released on February 12, the movie has earned approx. Rs. 22 crores net at the Indian box office, and around Rs. 3 crores overseas. ## The romantic comedy is now gearing up for its digital release. Mumbai, February 11 - The south Indian films are expanding their wings and announcing simultaneous Hindi theatrical releases. 'Bheemla Nayak' Producer Says Movie's Release Date Depends On AP CM Jagan Reddy

Hyderabad, February 4 - Tollywood superstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati-starrer "Bheemla Nayak" is ready for the theatrical release. After the recently implemented restrictions on theaters due to the 3rd covid-19 wave, the makers of "Bheemla Nayak" have blocked two dates - 25 February and 1 April. ## While the makers are ready to release the film on the first date, it also depends on the current circumstances. Mrunal Thakur is the leading lady opposite Shahid and plays his wife in the film. ## The Hindi version is produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju, and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banners of Geetha Arts, Brat Films, Dil Raju Productions, and Sithara Entertainments.
