Box Office: Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani Becomes The Fifth Biggest Bollywood Grosser In North America

Mumbai, August 23 - Karan Johar's directorial romantic family drama film "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" continues to mint money at the box office as it has become the 3rd highest-grossing outright Bollywood movie of 2023 worldwide.## At the North American box office, "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" is now the 5th highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time. It has so far grossed approximately $8.85 million in the US and Canada in 26 days and is likely to settle with this. ## As far as Indian movies are concerned, RRKPK is the 7th highest-grossing film there, ahead of SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali: The Beginning" which grossed $8.45 million in its full run. Mumbai, August 10 - Karan Johar's romantic family drama movie "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" scored a very good second week at the domestic box office. The movie dropped just around 35% from the opening week collection, which is an excellent hold.## "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani", starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, minted approx. 48 crores net in the second weekend. This takes the total collection to over 121 crores in two weeks, making it the 4th highest-grossing outright Bollywood movie of the year. ## Overseas, RRKPK has minted approx. 103 crores gross in two weeks, pushing the worldwide collection of the movie to approx. 245 crores gross. Mumbai, August 7 - Karan Johar's directorial comeback movie "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" is on a dream run at the box office. The movie had a fantastic second weekend at the domestic as well as the overseas box office which helped it to cross 200 crores worldwide.## Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani scored approx. 31.50 crores net collection in the second weekend, pushing the total domestic to around 105 crores net (124 crores gross). Netflix India Announces Its Slate Of 2021 Releases Including Films and Web Shows

Streaming giant Netflix on Wednesday announced the slate of its upcoming releases which will be streaming on its platform in 2021. The slate includes a total of 41 titles including the next seasons of Delhi Crime, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Mismatched, Kota Factory, Little Things, and others. ## This year, Netflix India will also release original true crime documentaries, one of which is based on Ma Anand Sheela apart from the comedy show of Kapil Sharma.
