Jr. NTR To Reunite With Director Trivikram After Allu Arjun's Mythological Film Shelved

Hyderabad, June 11 - Director Trivikram Srinivas last directed the superstar Mahesh Babu-fronted Guntur Kaaram, which was released in January 2024. Since then, the director has been working on a mythological film and teamed up with superstar Allu Arjun for the same. ## Allu Arjun's film with Trivikram was supposed to start rolling by the end of this year; however, things have changed a lot over the last few weeks. According to the latest Telugu media reports, the Pushpa star has amicably parted ways with the director due to a scheduling conflict. ## It is said that the film, which was supposed to be made with Allu Arjun, will now be headlined by superstar Jr. NTR, marking his reunion with the director after Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018). The film is about the God of War, Kartikeya / Subrahmanya Swamy. The project is said to be confirmed, and it will be produced by Haarika and Hassine Creations. The official announcement of the same is expected to be made in a few days. ## There has been an interesting rumour about Trivikram's film. It is said that the film was originally planned with Tamil star Suriya back in 2020. But then Covid happened, and later, the project went to Allu Arjun, and now, it will finally be made with Jr. NTR. ## Meanwhile, Trivikram will team up with Venkatesh Daggubati for his next, which begins in July this year. He will then make a film with superstar Ram Charan, and after completing it, he will start Jr. NTR's film, possibly by the end of 2026 or early 2027. Box Office: 'Khaleja' Re-Release Scores Double-Digit Opening Weekend Worldwide

Mumbai, June 2 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's fantasy action comedy Khaleja has exceeded expectations in its opening weekend and has become the highest as well as the first double-digit Telugu re-release grosser at the worldwide box office. ## Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Khaleja was re-released on May 30 amid the huge hype, and it scored the third biggest opening for a South Indian re-release film with approximately 6.75 crores gross. The movie scored good hold on the second day to earn around 2 crore gross, followed by around 1.50 crore gross on Sunday. ## Khaleja grossed approximately 10.25 crores in its opening weekend worldwide, including around 9 crores gross in India and 1.25 crores overseas. With this, it has become the first double-digit Telugu and third South India re-release grosser. ## The movie was re-released without any special occasion, and yet, it scored an excellent collection worldwide. Hyderabad, May 31 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's Khaleja has scored an excellent opening at the worldwide box office upon its re-release on May 30. After scoring one of the biggest advances for an Indian re-release title, the movie exceeded expectations on the first day. ## The fantasy action comedy film clocked over 3 crore pre-sales for the opening day in India, and with a fantastic response on spot booking, the film scored approximately 5.75 crores gross domestically on the first day. Overseas, the cult classic grossed around 1 crore, for a worldwide start of approximately 6.75 crores. ## Among the Indian re-release titles, Khaleja scored the third biggest opening worldwide, after Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli (7.75 crore) and Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh (7+ crore). Los Angeles, May 31 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's fantasy action comedy Khaleja was re-released worldwide on May 30 and opened to an excellent collection all over. The movie created a huge buzz and scored one of the biggest pre-sales for an Indian re-release title. ## Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Khaleja has created a record at the North American box office, becoming the highest-grossing Indian re-release movie in just one day. Prathyangira Cinemas, which released the movie in North America, announced this major milestone on social media. ## The film grossed approximately $58K from premieres, and $36K on the opening day, taking the total collection to $94K. Hyderabad, February 20 - After the mega success of Pushpa 2 - The Rule, pan India superstar Allu Arjun is busy scheduling his next film and there seems to be a change in plans regarding the actor's future film line-up, as per the latest Telugu media reports. ## It is widely known that Allu Arjun announced his reunion with director Trivikram Srinivas for a big-budget mythological epic. It was supposed to be the actor's immediate next after Pushpa 2, however, over the last few days, the talks regarding his film director Atlee have gained momentum. ## Not long ago, it was reported that Allu Arjun and Atlee were in talks to collaborate on a Pan India project but the actor later turned it down for some reasons. Mumbai, February 12 - There might be curtains to one of the most anticipated Pan India projects, featuring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan with director Atlee, due to the ever-exceeding budget. ## It is widely known that director Atlee will collaborate with Salman Khan for a two-hero mega movie. Box Office: Fighter Among Three Indian Films In The Top 10 Highest-Grossing Titles Worldwide In January 2024

Mumbai, February 1 - Indian films have started well at the box office in 2024 as three of them are among the top 10 highest-grossing titles worldwide this year so far.## Director Prasanth Varma's superhero film Hanuman emerged as a huge blockbuster with a worldwide gross collection of around 265 crores in 20 days. In India, the movie has minted approximately 210 crores while the overseas collection is around 55 crores so far. ## Hanuman is the 5th highest-grossing film globally in 2024 in January, followed by Hrithik Roshan's Fighter.
