UFC 284 Results: Yair RodrÃguez Vs. Josh Emmett Full Fight, Winner & Highlights
Perth, February 11, 2023 -For the co-main event of the afternoon, top UFC featherweights Yair “El Pantera†RodrÃguez and Josh Emmett will compete for the interim UFC featherweight title, with the winner taking on UFC featherweight champ, Volkanovski, at a later date. ## The event takes place on February 12, 2023, at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The main card kicks off at 10pm ET/7pm PT. ## UFC 284: Yair RodrÃguez Vs. Josh Emmett Full Fight ## FIRST ROUND: The first round is underway and RodrÃguez goes high but didn't land. Both fighters are staying calm. RodrÃguez kicks in the middle. RodrÃguez goes high followed by a Body kick and that hurt Emmett. RodrÃguez once with a Front kick and he is string big shots. ## RodrÃguez is staying tough here, No big offense landed so far. Emmett throws some of his bizarre shots. Emmett strikes now and he gets RodrÃguez down with a Takedown. Emmett with elbows, while RodrÃguez is trying to get out of the hold. Emmett with some nice heavy left hands. RodrÃguez lands some of his own Forearms and the round ends here. ## SECOND ROUND: The second round is in work, RodrÃguez has felt that power now. RodrÃguez did solid work in the first half of the first round but failed to continue the pace in the second half. Both fighters are opening some huge shots. RodrÃguez throws some body shots and they are hurting. There is a Clinch against the fence. They separate, RodrÃguez with a Bodyshot and lands a massive elbow. ## Yair with a Nasty body kick and Emmett looks hurt right now. Yair continues for more. Emmett is looking tired. Yair goes for an elbow and he gets it. Emmett now firing some hooks And Yair is building now! ## Yair is going so incredible, he is just kicking away. Spin misses from Yair but a jumping knee lands flush! Emmett takes it though and gets a takedown off it! ## Yair with elbows. Emmett looks fatigued now and he can't get it down.
