Produced by People Media Factory, The Raja Saab was recently pushed back to January 9, 2026, from December 5, 2025, release. By doing that, the makers confirmed the clash with Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan, which is also scheduled to release on January 9. Rana Daggubati & Sai Pallavi Starrer 'Virata Parvam' To Release In Theaters First

Hyderabad, November 22 - Telugu movie "Virata Parvam", starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi is going to get a theatrical release first. The period drama film has been in the news for quite some time now. It was supposed to release in summer 2022, but due to the second covid-19 wave, it stands postponed. ## There were talks that producers D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri are in talks with OTT platforms for a direct-to-digital release. Some entertainment portals had also claimed that the movie will be released directly on Amazon Prime Video. ## However, with theaters having reopened with full capacity, the latest reports say that director Venu Udugula has confirmed that the movie 'Virata Parvam' would get a theatrical release before its OTT release. It is said that the makers are planning to go with the theatrical release, and would announce the release date soon. A release date poster is being prepared by the team. ## The makers will soon resume the post-production work and then start promotional events. Billed as a period love story, "Virata Parvam" features Rana Daggubati in the role of a revolutionary leader. The movie is touted to be the journey of a couple, and their story revolves around Communism. ## As per the teaser which was released earlier, Sai Pallavi's sterling love for Rana Daggubati's revolutionary ideologies in the movie is the crux of the story.
