Bengaluru, October 16 - Supermrly talented and versatile actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran has been confirmed to star in Prabhas-fronted Salaar. On his birthday today (October 16), Hombale Films unveiled the first look poster of the actor.



Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the role of 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐚𝐫 in the movie and the first look poster gives the glimpse into his rustic look in the movie. Further details about his role are yet to be revealed but it seems he is playing one of the antagonists in this action thriller film.





"Salaar" is directed by Prashanth Neel and this marks his third collaboration with Hombale Films after two "KGF" movies and the first with Prabhas who plays the title role that has been described as the most violent man. The movie also stars Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles.





Produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, "Salaar" is scheduled to release on September 28, 2023, in multiple languages. Prithviraj Sukumaran will also headline Hombale Films' pan India movie "Tyson".
