Tanhaji collected 279.60cr at the box office and remains one of the Biggest Grosser in the industry. The collections of Tanhaji in the Maharashtra circuit were extraordinary as it was 2nd only to another historic Blockbuster Bahubali: The conclusion and remains one of the Biggest ever Blockbuster in the Maharashtra region.

Ajay Devgn in his three-decade-long career has delivered some huge hits like Phool Aur Kaante, Golmaal, and Singham but Tanhaji beat all his previous hits to become the biggest hit of his career. The worldwide collections of the film crossed 350cr which was the first-ever for an Ajay Devgn starrer. The total worldwide collections of Tanhaji were 367crs.
