Vijay Deverakonda Announces A New Film With Producer Dil Raju

Hyderabad, May 9 - Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda has reunited with producer Dil Raju for a new Pan India film. The announcement of the movie was made on the actor's birthday today with the first look concept poster.





The yet-untitled movie will be directed by Ravi Kiran Kola who previously directed romantic drama Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru (2019). The upcoming film is a rural action drama, a first-of-its-kind mass film for Vijay Deverakonda.





The movie will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The rest of the cast and other details will be revealed soon. The movie will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil languages.





Vijay Deverakonda's previous film, The Family Star, directed by Parasuram and produced by Dil Raju, was a box-office failure and the actor will be desperate to bounce back with the upcoming films, which also includes a movie with Jersey director Gowtam Tinnanur.

It is to be noted that to secure wide release in Hindi, a film requires an 8-week theatrical run, and the makers of Dragon are highly confident that their film will work wonders at the Hindi box office. However, an extended window for all versions is definitely a welcome move. The film, said to be mounted on a massive scale, features Jr. NTR in an intense action-packed role with Prashanth Neel's trademark dark, gritty tone and large-scale world-building.
