WWE WrestleMania 2 (1986) Results: Full Recap, Matches, Commentary, Winners, Rating

WrestleMania 2, held on April 7, 1986, shattered tradition in more ways than one. Unlike its predecessor and future installments, this unique event wasn't confined to a single location. Instead, wrestling fans in three cities –“ Uniondale, New York, Rosemont, Illinois, and Los Angeles, California –“ witnessed a spectacle spread across three venues simultaneously.

Each venue boasted a stacked card featuring four exciting matches, bringing the total to a whopping 12 bouts for WrestleMania 2. The main event in Uniondale wasn't your typical wrestling clash. It was a highly anticipated boxing match between pop-culture icon Mr. T and the outspoken "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, the energy crackled as WWF Tag Team Champions The Dream Team defended their titles against the high-flying British Bulldogs. But the biggest fight of the night arguably went down in Los Angeles. There, the legendary Hulk Hogan, the WWF World Heavyweight Champion, stepped into a steel cage to battle the monstrous King Kong Bundy in a brutal showdown.

WrestleMania 2 wasn't just about headline grabbers. The undercard in Uniondale also saw "Macho Man" Randy Savage retain his Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship against the unpredictable George "The Animal" Steele. In Chicago, a 20-man battle royal featuring both WWF wr

estlers and National Football League players added a layer of unpredictability to the event.
