Box Office: Brad Pitt's 'F1 Movie' Crosses 100 Crore Gross In India; Races Past $450 Million Worldwide

Mumbai, July 21 - Hollywood star Brad Pitt has pulled off a cinematic masterstroke with his racing sports drama F1 Movie, which has crossed the 100 crore gross milestone at the Indian box office. Despite fierce competition from Yash Raj Films' Saiyaara, which has taken the box office by storm, F1 remained solid in its fourth week so far. ## A Surprising Success Story ## Directed by Joseph Kosinski, F1 released with moderate buzz but has far exceeded expectations with its remarkable box office run. Before Saiyaara, the film was already facing intense competition from Hollywood blockbusters like Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman, as well as major Indian titles. Yet, F1 managed to do the unthinkable and is now racing into the 100 crore gross club. ## F1 enters 100 crores gross club in 26 days ## After the fourth weekend (24 days) at the Indian box office, F1 scored approximately 98 crore gross ($11.4 million). By its 26th day — the fourth Tuesday — the film officially joined the elite 100 crore gross club, becoming only the third Hollywood film in 2025 to do so, after Jurassic World Rebirth and Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning. ## Notably, F1 is one of the rare Hollywood titles to earn (so far) nearly 15 times its opening day collection, making it one of the most impressive box office success stories of the year in the country. ## F1 surpassed $450 million at the worldwide box office ## The Warner Bros. production has been a hit globally, racing past $450 million in worldwide grosses after its fourth weekend. The domestic (North American) gross stands at $153.6 million, while the overseas earnings have reached $307.2 million — taking the global total to a stunning $460.8 million.## China is the biggest international market for F1 with $45.5 million, followed by the United Kingdom with $24.6 million, France with $20.8 million, Mexico with $17.4 million, and Australia with $15.2 million. India too was among the top 10 overseas markets for the film, taking 8th spot on the list. ## About F1 Movie ## The film stars Brad Pitt as a racing driver who returns to Formula One (F1) after a 30-year absence to save his former teammate's underdog team, APXGP, from collapse. Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem star in supporting roles. ## Stay tuned...

Warner Bros. 'Dune: Part 2' Box Office Projection Revealed

Los Angeles, February 15 - Warner Bros. Pictures' epic science fiction film Dune: Part 2 is setting up to be one of the most-anticipated films. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, it is the second of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert. ## Following the success of the first part, released in 2021, Hollywood Trade is hoping for the massive success of Dune 2. However, the film's early box office projections have been revealed and it is currently falling short of the trade expectations. ## According to Deadline, Dune 2 is tracking to gross $65 million - $75 million in its domestic (North America) opening box office weekend. The projections, however, are 59% - 83% higher than the first film which opened at $41 million and went on to gross $108 million domestically and $403 million worldwide. ## It is revealed that the pre-sales of Dune Part 2 are pacing well and it wouldn't be surprising if the opening surpasses the industry projections. ## In Dune 2, Paul Atreides continues his journey, united with Chani and the Fremen, as he seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family and endeavours to prevent a terrible future that only he can predict. ## The movie stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem, reprising their roles from the first film, with Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Léa Seydoux joining the ensemble cast. ## Stay tuned...

After getting re-released in the domestic market (North America), "Dune" gets benefitted from Oscar's nominations buzz and scored $145K on its 17th weekend for a total domestic cume of $107.8 million. ## Overseas, the film grossed $320K on its 22nd weekend, thanks to the re-release in Korea, reaching $292.3 million at the international box office. At Last Daniel Craig Talks About His James Bond Ending In 'No Time To Die'

Now, Daniel Craig has finally spilled on what his Bond's final moments meant to him and revealed the idea to kill off the iconic spy first popped into his head while filming 2006's Casino Royale.## "I had this idea, I wanted to kill him off a long time ago – in Casino Royale – for all sorts of reasons," Craig said while talking to Javier Bardem, who previously played the villain Raoul Silva in Skyfall, for Variety (via ScreenRant). ## "One, purely egotistical. I feel like I needed to end what I did on it. I would be only satisfied if I could walk away and there was nowhere else for that to go, that someone else would have to come along and invent something completely different. But also because I thought that was a good way for it to continue, and I knew that the only way to make it work was that it had to be based on love, and every time that we've gone emotionally into this, it pays back every time.## Where exactly the James Bond series goes from here remains to be seen. There are already countless names in the hat to take over as the next James Bond – click that link for the biggest actors in contention – while other ideas have circulated online for how the franchise may continue. We have a debrief on what could possibly be next for James Bond, while we also previously spoke to Tom Holland about his pitch for a young James Bond film – however, that later turned into the Uncharted movie.## Stay tuned...
