Mumbai, December 22 - Telugu veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's much-anticipated sequel Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, which was released amid a big hype in Telugu states, has failed to make any impact at the Hindi box office, turning out to be a massive disaster in the North Indian market. Despite strong pre-release hype in Telugu states and the success of the first Akhanda, the Hindi-dubbed version of the sequel was a non-starter and ended up as one of the biggest dubbed sequels. The film opened to extremely low numbers in Hindi circuits, with collections remaining negligible throughout its short theatrical run.
