
Vicky Kaushal's Sardar Udham Singh Takes Direct-To-Digital Route On Amazon Prime Video
Mumbai, September 12, 2021: Vicky Kaushal starrer long-awaited biographical film "Sardar Udham Singh" becomes the latest Bollywood biggie to take the direct-to-digital route. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the movie has been ready for release for quite some time now. ## The producers of the film were reportedly not willing to hold the release of the film anymore and they have sold the movie to Amazon Prime Video. However, with Maharashtra theaters are yet to open, the makers have taken this tough call to release the movie on Prime Video. ## Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter best known for assassinating Michael O'Dwyer in London to take revenge for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. The movie also stars Banita Sandhu as the female lead.
