Mumbai, October 17: The advance bookings for Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's big Diwali release Thamma have opened to an encouraging response, signalling a good start for the film at the domestic box office. Within hours of opening, Thamma managed to sell over 6,000 tickets across leading national chains such as PVR and INOX, while overall ticket sales have crossed the 12K mark for the opening day. Trade analysts note that this is an impressive start, especially considering that Thamma releases right after the Diwali festivities"”traditionally a tricky window for advance sales.
