Taapsee Pannu To Headline Her Maiden Production, Blurr; To Be Directed By Ajay Bahl
Mumbai, July 15, 2021: Versatile actress, Taaspee Pannu has joined hands with Pranjal Khandhdiya to launch her own production house, Outsiders Films. Khandhdiya will handle the on-the-ground aspects of production, while Pannu will deal with the creative side, including script selection. ## The first film under Outsiders Films will be "Blurr". It is a thriller film that will be headlined by Taapsee herself. It will be directed by Ajay Bahl (B.A. Pass, Section 375) and will jointly be produced by Zee Studios, Outsiders Films, and Echelon Productions. The actress turns producer is also in talks with streaming platforms for a couple of shows. ## "Basically, the kind of stuff I will be producing will be the kind of stuff that I have been a part of, that people know me for picking", Pannu tells Variety. "So it won't be like a split personality, where I do a certain kind of films as an actor and then produce certain kinds of things as a producer, they won't be different entities, they'll look very similar". ## Meanwhile, on the acting front, Pannu has a slate of upcoming films, including Sony Pictures' official remake of "Run Lola Run" ("Looop Lapeta"), Mithali Raj's biopic "Shabaash Mithu", sports drama "Rashmi Rocket", "Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?" and Anurag Kashyap's time-traveling thriller "Dobaara".
