Godfather Review: Moviegoers React To Megastar Chiranjeevi's Political Action Thriller
Hyderabad, October 5 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's much-awaited political action thriller film Godfather is finally out in theaters. Directed by Mohan Raja, the movie is the official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer with some changes in the script. ##
"Godfather" marks Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Telugu debut. He is playing an extended cameo role, stepping into the shoes of Prithviraj Sukumaran from the original movie. Nayanthara plays the female lead along with Puri Jagannadh, Satyadev Kancharana, Murali Sharma, and Samuthirakani, among others in key roles. ##
The official plot of the film says, "After the death of Andhra Pradesh's C.M P.K.R, Brahma, a mysterious and dangerous man, who is also nicknamed as Godfather, learns that P.K.R's son-in-law, Jaidev, is planning to smuggle narcotics in Hyderabad. Brahma opposes this and becomes an obstacle to Jaidev, who plans to eliminate him. How Brahma foils Jaidev's plan and exposes him forms the crux of the plot". ##
