'Jumanji 3' Sets Official Release Date

Los Angeles, October 29 — Sony Pictures announces that the next instalment of the adventure comedy franchise is officially in development and will be released before Christmas 2026, nearly 7 years after the last movie Jumanji: The Next Level (2019).## According to Deadline, director Jake Kasdan and star posse Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan are in talks and expected to return for Jumanji 3. The film will hit the screens on December 11, 2026, the same pre-Christmas slot that previous films in the Jumanji franchise released.## The third instalment of the rebooted Jumanji franchise is currently slated for a solo release on December 11 but there is Disney's untitled Star Wars movie and Warner Bros/Legendary’s supposed release of Dune 3 on December 18.## The original Jumanji was released in 1995, before its spin-off, Zathura: A Space Adventure launched in 2005. Marvel Studios' 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' Digital Streaming Date Revealed

Los Angeles, July 17 - Marvel Studios' recent blockbuster "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" is getting ready to release on Disney Plus soon. Directed by James Gunn, the movie was originally released on May 5 this year and grossed close to $850 million at the worldwide box office.## It has been more than two months since the movie is in cinemas though its run at the box office is almost over. Now, Disney has provided an update regarding the film's digital premiere and the MCU fans will not have to wait much longer for the same. ## The streamer has confirmed that GoTG3 will start streaming on Disney+ on August 2, 2023, almost three months after its theatrical release. In India, the movie is expected to be available on the same date on Disney+Hotstar in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.## Earlier, Disney used to stream Marvel movies on Disney+ less than 8 weeks after the theatrical release. However, Disney's CEO recently admitted that the frequent Marvel content on Disney+ is diluting the audiences' focus and attention from theatrical tentpoles. 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' Tracking To Earn $250+ Million Worldwide In The Opening Weekend

Los Angeles, May 3 - The finale of Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy by director James Gunn is hitting the big screen this Friday (May 5) and the movie is expected to start the summer box office with a bang. ## According to Hollywood trade experts, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is projected to open around $110 million - $120 million in its 3-day domestic (North America) opening weekend. This can be termed as an underwhelming start as "GoTG2" opened at $146 million in 2017. ## While the critics' reviews are decent for the third installment, the poor performance of the recent Marvel movies can be seen affecting the opening of "GoTG3" which is being hailed as the best Marvel movie since "Avengers: Endgame" (2019). ## Internationally, the superhero movie is expected to score around $140 million - $150 million over a 5-day opening weekend. The worldwide opening of the film is projected to be around $250 million - $270 million. It cost over $200 million to make, according to Variety. ## The last few Marvel movies haven't performed to their potential, especially "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania", which despite the biggest opening in the "Ant-Man" franchise, ended up as the lowest-grossing film in the series with a worldwide gross collection finishing below $500 million mark. Mumbai, December 2 - Marvel Studios' next big ticket entertainer, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 has confirmed its release date in India. The superhero flick, directed by James Gunn, will be hitting Indian theaters on 5 May 2023 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.## It is intended to be the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) and the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Chris Hemsworth's 'Thor: Love and Thunder' Becomes The Lowest-Rated Film In Thor Franchise

Los Angeles, August 2 - Actor Chris Hemsworth's Thor: Love and Thunder has been in theaters for almost a month and has grossed over $660 million worldwide so far. However, the film has scored another benchmark, which the makers would have liked to avoid.## The 4th installment of Thor, "Love and Thunder" has become the lowest-rated film in the franchise and the second-lowest rated film in the entirety of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At the time of writing this article, the film has a 65% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes from 408 reviews. ## The highest-rated film in this superhero franchise is "Thor: Ragnarok" (93 percent), followed by "Thor" (77 percent) as the second best-rated film and "Thor: The Dark World" at number 3 with 66% rating. In the MCU, the only Marvel Studios flick with a worse rating is "Eternals" with a 47% score from 398 critics. ## Most importantly, despite the poor reviews, the film has managed to stay in theaters.
