Box Office: 'Housefull 5' 4th Weekend Collection; Nears 300 Crore Worldwide

Mumbai, June 30 - Superstar Akshay Kumar's comedy-thriller Housefull 5 is losing momentum at the domestic box office amid growing competition, as the film collected approximately 1.50 crore net collection in its fourth weekend.## Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the fifth instalment in the popular franchise has amassed around 182 crore net (217 crore gross) in India over 24 days. Despite the slowdown, the film remains the second-highest-grossing Bollywood release of 2025, trailing only Vicky Kaushal's "Chhaava". ## Globally, Housefull 5 has earned an estimated 287 crore gross, including about ₹70 crore from overseas markets. With this, it is on course to finish just below "Sooryavanshi" (₹293 crore gross) as Akshay Kumar's second-biggest worldwide hit post-COVID. ## Within the franchise, Housefull 5 stands as the second-highest grosser, behind Housefull 4 (296 crore worldwide, 2019). In Akshay Kumar's overall filmography, it is projected to be his sixth biggest grosser, following, "2.0" (744 crore), "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" (316.50 crore), "Good Newwz" (316 crore), "Housefull 4" (296 crore), and "Sooryavanshi" (293 crore). ## Despite being mounted on an estimated budget of 250 crore, Housefull 5 has managed to turn in a decent performance, although the expectations were much higher given the massive scale, ensemble cast, and brand value. 'Housefull 5' Eyes Record Opening In The Franchise

Mumbai, June 6 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar-led comedy entertainer Housefull 5 hits the big screen today, June 6, amid huge anticipation. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, it is the costliest film of the franchise, and the expectations are huge from this at the box office. ## Housefull 5 scored one of the biggest advances of the year for a Bollywood title, with approximately 2.50 lakh tickets sold worth approximately 8 crore gross collection (without block seat) for the opening day. The pre-sales, however, are not as big as it was expected given the franchise value and huge star cast. ## Despite pre-sales falling short of expectations, Housefull 5 is eying the record opening in the franchise. In comparison to one of the recent films, Sikandar, the advance booking of HF5 is slightly behind, but it needs to be noted that the Salman Khan-starrer had a Sunday release. ## It has also been observed that the Housefull franchise is not usually an advance-heavy franchise and has relied on spot bookings, and this seems to be the case with the latest instalment. The urgency in booking tickets is much higher on the release day than on the previous days, which shows the strong response in spot booking. ## At this point, Housefull 5 is looking to score the biggest opening of the franchise, beating Housefull 4, which scored around 19 crore net. The pre-sales response suggests the opening in the range of 23-25 crores net, however, it might vary depending on how the day progresses in terms of walk-ins. ## Housefull 5 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Mumbai, June 3 - The much-awaited comedy entertainer Housefull 5, starring superstar Akshay Kumar, is all set to hit the big screen on June 6, and it is going to be the first of its kind film for its genre as well as for Akshay. ## Housefull 5 is the fifth instalment of the blockbuster franchise, and according to the reports, it is set to be the widest release for the franchise. It is said that the film will be released on over 5000 screens across the country. Overseas, it will release on over 2000 screens. Sidharth Malhotra On Shershaah: This Would Not Have Disappointed At The Box-Office

Mumbai, August 18, 2021: Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has become the talk of the town after delivering his career-best performance in the recently released, Shershaah. The film, which is a biopic of the Kargil War hero Vikram Batra, is getting rave reviews from all parts of the country. Those who have watched the movie hailed Sidharth for portraying Batra in the film. ## Directed by Vishnuvardhan in his Hindi debut, Shershaah premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video on August 12. However, soon after the movie was released on OTT, there has been chatter among critics and the audience about how it was meant to be consumed on the big screen. The trade predicted Shershaah to become Sid's biggest grosser to date had it released in the cinema halls. ## In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sidharth too himself admitted that after the kind of response the movie received, it would have been a successful outing in theaters. However, he is also aware that the movie was ready to release for a long time now, and keeping that in mind, the makers took a decision to release it on the digital platform. ## "After looking at the love and response from the audience, I know for sure that this would not have disappointed at the box office. That being said, we were ready last July and the film was shot keeping the big screen in mind. But this is the new norm. We may not have a full capacity of screens this year and that wouldn't do justice to a film of this scale.
