Veteran Actor Kamal Haasan Lauds Cast & Crew Of Vikram Batra's Biopic 'Shershaah'

Chennai, August 24, 2021: Veteran actor Kamal Haasan has showered high praises on the recently released Bollywood movie, Shershaah. The movie, which is based on the life of Kargil Hero Vikram Batra, has been winning accolades ever since it was released on Amazon Prime Video on August 12.





Shershaah is directed by Vishnu Varadhan in his Hindi directorial debut. Kamal Haasan expresses gratitude towards Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for giving an opportunity to a talented director like Varadhan. The legendary actor also cheered for actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani for their brilliant performances.





Kamal Haasan took to Twitter and shared how watching Shershaah made him proud of the Indian army soldiers. "Right from my childhood as a film fan and a patriot's son I resented the way Indian army was depicted in some of our Cinemas. Shershaah is that exception that makes my chest swell with pride for my soldiers", the actor wrote.





Sidharth Malhotra is particularly winning a lot of praise for his portrayal of Vikram Batra. Critics have already declared Shershaah as Sidharth's career-best performance. And now, the Mission Majnu actor has received un ultimate appreciation for his once-in-a-lifetime role.
