Box Office: 'Kalki 2898 AD' Tops 100 Crore Net In Hindi; 6th Movie of Prabhas To Do So

Mumbai, July 1 - In no time, Pan India superstar Prabhas has another movie in the 100 crores net club in Hindi.## The sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has become the 6th film and third consecutive for the Baahubali star to achieve the milestone of 100 crores net in the dubbed version. The movie took just 4 days to enter the coveted box office club. ## The sensational blockbuster scored an estimated 39 crores net on Sunday which takes its total collection to over 111 in Hindi. In terms of days taken to reach 100 crores Hindi net, Kalki 2898 AD is the 26th fastest to do so. ## The list of the fastest films in 100 crores net club includes 5 movies in 2 days, 15 movies in 3 days, and 9 movies in 4 days. Kalki has surpassed the 4-day collection of Dunki (105.60 crores), Golmaal Again (103.60 crores), Krrish 3 (101.50 crores), and Raees (101.40 crores). ## As said, it is the 6th movie of Prabhas, after Baahubali, Baahubali 2, Saaho, Adipurush, and Salaar to reach 100 crores net in Hindi. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone, who played the female lead in the film, has her 10th movie in this prestigious club. ## Kalki 2898 AD will aim to become Prabhas' second-biggest Hindi grosser by the end of the first week by crossing Salaar (152.65 crores net). For the last few days, there have been some continuous reports that the production house Yash Raj Films will announce several projects one by one on its 50th anniversary.## Under the YRF50 announcement, earlier, there were some reports that Aditya Chopra, to make the last film of the Tiger series with Salman Khan, and Katrina Kaif, which will be made on a bigger level than the previous two films and will have a Hollywood level action sequence. Tiger 3 is supposed to be made in approx 300 crore budget. ## READ - Salman Khan In Yash Raj Films Tiger 3 ## And now, Shah Rukh Khan who was last seen in 2018 in Zero is going to join hands with the "War" director, Siddharth Anand in a film part of the YRF50 announcement. However, the film is yet to announce but according to some reports, Siddharth Anand Film has got a tentative title in Pathan and SRK most likely to have Deepika Padukone as his leading partner in the film. ## Pathan will be an action thriller film which sees SRK play the most heroic character of his career. According to a report stated in a leading portal, "Shah Rukh Khan has been on the hunt to do an action film for a while now and Siddharth Anand offered him exactly what he was looking for. The character is rooted, earthy, larger-than-life, it's heroic, it's stylish and has the swag to pull off the big-scale action". ## The report further stated that "Shah Rukh Khan's role in Pathan will be very much the same as he played in movies like Don and Raees. So, it will be a total SRK movie".## The report suggests that both Tiger 3 and Pathan may be announced on the Yash Chopra's birth anniversary which is on September 27. While "Tiger 3" will go on floors in the next year, "Pathan" is supposed to begin by the end of 2020. ## Apart from "Pathan", Shah Rukh Khan reportedly will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's next film which is said to be an immigration social-drama film. Shah Rukh uses his movie scenes to create COVID-19 awareness

Mumbai, March 22 (IANS) Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday came out with a unique and interesting video to create awareness about coronavirus among people. ## He made a fun and informative video on COVID-19 using scenes from his movies. ## From the popular "Loveria" song of his 1992 hit "Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman" to stills from hits such as "Kal Ho Na Ho" (2003), "Chalte Chalte" (2003) and "Raees" (2017), clips of various SRK films have been put together in an attempt to convey facts about coronavirus in his explainer. ## Not only this, he even highlighted the kind of masks people should not buy -- the kind he wore in "Baazigar" and "Badshah". ## "InshaAllah #JantaCurfew will help against the spread of virus, though we may have to do this again. The clapping brought so much cheer. So a reminder of safeguards, with some cheer... Pls take it in the right spirit. To all relentlessly working today - Extremely Grateful.
