Varun Dhawan-Fronted 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' Complete Cast Details Revealed

Mumbai, April 17 - Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has reunited with his director father David Dhawan for a comic caper Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which is currently on floors. Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde are playing the female leads.## According to the report by Pinkvilla, the team has completed over 50% of the film shoot, and the next month-long schedule is set to take place in Scotland, starting from April 22. Meanwhile, apart from the original leading trio, director David Dhawan has got a big ensemble on board the film. ## It is said that Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Chunkey Panday, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar have been locked to play key roles in the film, and they all will be part of the upcoming schedule. The movie will call a wrap, barring a couple of songs and some patchwork sequences, after the Scotland schedule. ## HJTIHN is produced by Ramesh Taurani under his banner TIPS. 'Race 4' Officially In Development; Makers Share Casting Update

Mumbai, April 6 - Over the last year or so, there have been reports about the 4th installment of the action thriller franchise Race being in the making, and now, the makers have confirmed that Race 4 is indeed in the making and will begin filming soon. ## It has been reported that Saif Ali Khan will make his comeback in the franchise after missing out on Race, and the actor to join him in the upcoming film is Sidharth Malhotra, who is going to be the newest addition to the blockbuster franchise. ## Meanwhile, there were a lot of rumours regarding the casting of the female leads and other actors of the film, but the makers have denied all the rumours. Producer Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films released a statement addressing the casting rumours of Race 4 while confirming that the movie is in the scripting stage. ## "We would like to clarify that we are currently in discussions only with Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra for the next installment of the Race franchise, which is currently in its scripting phase. No other male or female actors have been approached at this stage. Unlike the previous three films, the upcoming one is an original script. ## Recently, it was revealed that Mrunal Thakur and Sreeleela (Bollywood debut) would be playing the female lead roles, and now, the quirky title of the movie has also been revealed as the shoot has commenced today in Mumbai. ## According to the Pinkvilla report, the romantic comic caper has been titled, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai which is said to be the sync of the script. Mumbai, July 17 - Director Sriram Raghavan's long-awaited drama thriller movie "Merry Christmas" starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi gets a new release date in theaters. This is the first time Katrina and Vijay are coming together on the silver screen. ## On Monday (July 17), the makers shared the first-look posters which have piqued audiences' interest. The cool-looking posters give the major vintage vibes with an intriguing tagline on the poster reads, "Raat jitni sageen hogi, subah utni rageen hogi".## The movie has been confirmed to release on December 15 this year, clashing with Sidharth Malhotra's "Yodha". Gulshan Kumar Murder Case: The Bombay High Court Acquits Tips' Owner Ramesh Taurani From All Chargers

Mumbai, July 1, 2021: The Bombay High Court today delivered the judgment in the murder case of T-Series owner, Gulshan Kumar, who was brutally killed in broad daylight on August 12, 1997. Ramesh Taurani, the owner of the music label Tips Industries Limited, was one of the accused with music director Nadeem Akhtar Saifee (of Nadeem-Shravan fame) in the case. ## Taurani was charged with allegedly conspiring with Saifee by hiring Dubai mafioso Abu Salem to carry out the murder. He was also charged for paying Nadeem a sum of Rs 2.5 million to carry out the execution. Taurani was arrested by Bombay's crime branch for 'abetting' music magnate Gulshan Kumar's murder but was later granted bail after being imprisoned. ## Five years later, in 2002, the sessions court dropped all charges against him. After his acquittal in the lower court, the State of Maharashtra then appealed in the High Court which has now been dismissed by the court after 19 years when a division bench of Justices Sadhana Jadhav and NR Borkar delivered a judgment today (July 1) and acquitted him from all chargers. ## Taurani called it a triumph of the truth after he got relief in the Gulshan Kumar murder case. "The appeal has been dismissed and my family and I happy and relieved. I was expecting the verdict. I had to go through a long ordeal that was not required. It has been almost 25 years and I have gone through a lot of trouble. I got my acquittal in 2002 but since then there have been so many appeals. The sessions court had given a detailed order so I felt that it was unnecessary to bring it up in the High Court. The judiciary is already burdened so I believe this was stretched too far", Taurani said (via News 18). ## Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court upheld the conviction of Abdul Rauf Merchant in the murder case. He was an aide of gangster Dawood Ibrahim and was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2002 for Gulshan Kumar's murder in 1997. While delivering the judgment in the Gulshan Kumar murder case, the high court bench noted that Abdul Rauf Merchant had "criminal antecedents".## The bench said, "He is not entitled to remission as he absconded right after his arrest. He was released on furlough in 2009. His conviction continued as he fled parole and continued with his criminal activities. Hence in the interest of justice at large, he does not deserve any leniency". ## The bench, in its order, stated that they upheld the conviction and sentence passed against Abdul Rauf Dawood Merchant under section 302, 307 of IPC by the judgment of sessions court judge dated April 29, 2002. They also added that he is also convicted for the section under section 120-B of IPC. The bench said that he is acquitted of charges under sections 392 (Robbery) and 397 (Robbery or dacoity in attempt to cause death) of IPC.## Stay tuned...
