Lionsgate Sets Release Date For Heist Film 'Now You See Me 3'

Mumbai, July 3 - Lionsgate studio has set the official release for the third instalment of its magic-themed heist film franchise Now You See Me, directed by Ruben Fleischer. ## Starring Jesse Eisenberg, the threequel will be released on November 14, 2025. The development of Now You See Me 3 was first confirmed in April 2020 when Lionsgate brought on screenwriter Warren Singer to pen the script to add a fresh take to the story. ## The plot details of the movie have been kept under wraps but the movie reintroduces audiences to the thieving illusionists known as the Four Horseman with Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman returning to reprise their roles, with Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike among those aboard for new roles. ## The first movie of the franchise was released in 2013 and went on to gross over $350 million at the worldwide box office against a budget of $75 million. Los Angeles, March 13 - Tom Hardy-led third instalment in the superhero Venom franchise has an official title and a new release date. ## Directed by Kelly Marcel, Venom 3 has been titled Venom: The Last Dance and is confirmed to hit big screens on October 25, 2024, moving up by two weeks from the previous date of November 8. It is intended to be the sixth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU). ## The Venom franchise originated in 2018 and was directed by Ruben Fleischer. The movie was a big box office success, grossing over $850 million globally. The sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) was released during the Covid-19 pandemic and did well by grossing $500+ million. ## The upcoming movie stars Tom Hardy returning in the titular anti-superhero title role, alongside Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Los Angeles, October 28 - Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' next installment of Venom has found its director. The Tom Hardy-fronted will be directed by Kelly Marcel who wrote and produced the first two "Venom" installments, according to Deadline.## The report says Marcel and Hardy will also produce Venom 3 with Marcel writing the screenplay from a story by Marcel and Hardy. Tom Holland's 'Uncharted' Opens Solid At The International Box Office

Mumbai, February 14 - With "Spider-Man: No Way Home" still putting strong numbers at the box office, Tom Holland's next film "Uncharted" has kicked off the international box office on a strong note. ## Ahead of its domestic (North America) debut on February 18, Sony's big-screen adaptation of its popular video game series opened in 15 international markets and grossed a solid $21.5 million over Valentine's Day weekend. There were questions about whether Tom Holland could bring audiences to theaters outside his "Spider-Man" movies, and "Uncharted" might have answered all those questions. ## Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the action-adventure film had the biggest start in the United Kingdom, swinging to $6.4 million, followed by Russia with $4.5 million, Spain with $3.5 million, and Ukraine with $1.3 million.## Compared to pandemic-era blockbusters, "Uncharted" movie is tracking 12% above "Eternals", 18% above "Black Widow" and 21% higher than "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" at similar points in their theatrical rollouts, according to Variety.## The $120 million budgeted movie, will debut in the U.S. and Canada in the coming weekend along with India, Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, and South Korea. Tom Holland's Next Action Adventure 'Uncharted' Confirms India Release Date

Mumbai, December 24 - Sony Pictures has released the second trailer of Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg's action-adventure "Uncharted". The movie serves as an origin story and prequel to the video games of the same name created by Naughty Dog. It stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, and Mark Wahlberg as his mentor Victor Sullivan, along with Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas in supporting roles.## Directed by Ruben Fleischer, "Uncharted" will be released on 18 February 2022 in theaters. Sony has been a supporter of an exclusive theatrical release and continues to do despite the scare of the new covid-19 variant. The studio has also confirmed the Indian release of the film in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on Feb. 18. ## ## Interestingly, "Uncharted" entered development many moons back in 2008, with film producer Avi Arad stating that he would be working with Sony Pictures to develop a film adaptation of Uncharted. However, the movie kept delayed due to the complicated production process. It was in 2017 when Holland was cast to play the lead role and principal photography commenced in March 2020. ## The official synopsis of "Uncharted" released by Sony Pictures states, "Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg).
