Kochi, March 22 - Superstar Mohanlal's action thriller L2: Empuraan has shattered many records even before the first show begins. Mohanlal's 'L2: Empuraan' Advance Booking Off To Flier In India; Breaks Record

Kochi, March 21 - The box office is breathing fire again, this time in the most uncharted territory (with huge potential) of Indian cinema with superstar Mohanlal's Malayalam blockbuster L2: Empuraan. There can't be a happier moment for the overall Indian film industry than seeing the rise of the Mollywood which has unanimously been applauded as the content factory. ## Over the last few years, Indian cinema has witnessed box office mayhem, mostly in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. But no one in their wildest of dreams had thought that a Malayalam Pan India film would top all other industries. Well, Empuraan has done that, at least, in terms of selling the highest number of tickets in an hour before release. ## The advance booking of Empuraan was opened at 9 AM on March 21 and by 10:30 AM, it had started selling tickets at 96K/hour which is a record for an Indian film before the official release. Record-Breaking Overseas Pre-Sales For 'Empuraan'

Kochi, March 20 - Superstar Mohanlal's action thriller Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is re-writing history in its overseas pre-sales and is all set to start with a bang at the box office upon its worldwide release on March 27. ## The film is having a never-before-seen mass hysteria in the advance sales in the international market. With 6 days still left for the release, the opening day pre-sales of the film has crossed the 15 crore mark, which is already a record for a Malayalam title overseas. ## The worldwide bookings have crossed 12 crores gross, even without the regular bookings in the domestic market.
