It is produced by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives. ## The film features Kapil Sharma, who is a new food delivery rider, exploring the world of the gig economy. Shahana Goswami plays his wife, a homemaker, who to support his income, starts to work for the very first time. Mumbai, Dec 28 (IANS) For actor Samir Soni, it was surreal to work with veteran actors Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapur in 'Jab Khuli Kitaab'. The film, written and directed by Saurabh Shukla, is a slice-of-life drama and has been shot in Ranikhet.## Talking about the film, Samir, whose book, 'My Experiments with Silence' has garnered a positive response, said: "I am super excited for a film that I have just finished shooting. It is a lovely script, one of the most beautiful scripts I have ever read. I have been waiting for such scripts to come my way, where I am not portrayed as a rich millionaire kind of dynamic guy".## He added: "It is a privilege to be a part of this film and it has been a pleasure working with people I have been a fan of. Mumbai, July 27, 2021: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn's digital debut series, Rudra: The Edge of Darkness on Disney+Hotstar, is on a signing spray and getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. Rudra, which is a Hindi adaptation of the British TV series "Luther" starring Idris Elba in the lead roles, was announced in April this year. ## The crime drama thriller series will have an ensemble cast featuring some very talented artists. In June, it was reported that South Indian actress, Raashii Khanna will play the female lead in the series. Confirming her inclusion, Applause Entertainment has brought the actress on board to star alongside Ajay. Recently, Esha Deol was also confirmed to reunite with Ajay in the series for the first time in 13 years. ## "I am very excited to be a part of Applause Entertainment's Rudra – The Edge of Darkness. Mumbai, June 10, 2021: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is gearing up for his digital debut. The actor announced his much-awaited OTT debut with the Disney Plus Hotstar series, Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness, in April. The crime drama thriller is said to the official Hindi adaptation of the British TV series, Luther which starred Idris Elba in the lead roles. ## Now, we have learnt that South Indian actress, Raashii Khanna has been roped in to play a key role. While Ajay Devgn will be stepping in the shoes of Edris Elba as a detective investigating serious crimes while simultaneously facing his own demons, Raashii will reprise the role of Ruth Wilson, who is a psychopath and murderer. Interestingly, Rudra marks Khanna's second back-to-back Hindi show after Raj-DK's in-the-production Amazon Prime series that stars Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. ## According to Peepingmoon, Ferrari Ki Sawaari and Ventilator director Rajesh Mapuskar comes on board to helm the series, which will reportadly go on floors on July 21 in Mumbai.
