Apart from delivering one of the biggest hits of the year in the form of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the actor also has announced some very exciting projects for the future. ## After the success of BB2 at the box office, Kartik is now gearing up to score on the digital platform. Disney Plus Hotstar has announced the exclusive digital premiere of Kartik's romantic thriller Freddy. The movie is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and also features Alaya F as the female lead along with Jeniffer Piccinato. ## Freddy was almost meant for an OTT release, but there were reports that it might take the theatrical route as digital platforms have allegedly distanced themselves from taking Bollywood movies for direct OTT release. Mumbai, August 16, 2021: Earlier in May this year, it was reported that Riteish Deshmukh would be making his digital debut with Netflix. The details about the project were revealed much but it was reported that Veere Di Wedding director Shashanka Ghosh would be helming the film which was said to be a romantic-comedy. ## Well, it has been confirmed now, and the movie has been titled "Plan A Plan B". Tamannaah Bhatia will be starring as the female lead alongside Riteish Deshmukh. Riteish is playing a matchmaker while Tamannah essays the role of a divorce lawyer. The film also stars Poonam Dhillon and Kusha Kapila in key roles. Rajat Arora has written and produced the film. ## Riteish took to Twitter and shared his excitement about making a digital debut. The romantic thriller is being helmed by Veere Di Wedding fame Shashanka Ghosh while Ekta Kapoor and Jay Shewakramani have bankrolled this under their production banner Balaji Telefilms and Northern Lights Films. ## And now, the leading lady of the film has been finalized to romance Freddy aka Kartik. According to reports, Jawaani Jaaneman actress, Alaya F, has signed the film. It is Alaya's second film under Ekta Kapoor's banner.
