Mumbai, Dec 12, 2021: Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui which had an average first day, had witnessed the highest 2nd-day growth for any film in 2021 which is an excellent sign for the film and the industry as this is an important film for the industry.

After collecting 3.75 Cr on its first day, the film showed a jump of around 30% on its 2nd day and collected 4.87 Cr taking its two days total to 8.62 Cr.

The growth is very good and more importantly, the circuits which didn't perform well on the first day performed better on 2nd day. The growth in the multiplexes of Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru signals a positive sign for the film while Delhi, NCR, and Chandigarh remain the dominating circuits.

The film won't get much of a free run as many event films are lined up to release in the coming week so the film has to take the advantage of initial days. The Sunday should grow more to give a healthy first weekend total.
