Mumbai, November 13 - Actor Vicky Kaushal has been in top form lately with back-to-back box-office successes. The biggest hit for the actor in recent times was the romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke with producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. This film opened the door for more collaboration between the two. ## After ZHZB, Vicky reunited with Vijan for a historical film titled Chhaava. The movie is scheduled to be released early next year and it is said the producer is confident that it will deliver big at the box office. Meanwhile, Chhaava is not the only film between the two creative forces as the actor has signed his third film with the studio.## On Wednesday (November 13), Maddock announced that the Sam Bahadur star will headline an epic historical film, titled Mahavatar. The actor has already signed the dotted lines and will start preparation for the same after completing Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic Love & War. ## Mahavatar is set against the backdrop of Ramayana and is about one of the most pivotal characters of the epic, Lord Parshuram. The film is undoubtedly the most ambitious one for both Maddock and Vicky Kaushal. The film requires 6 to 8 months plus of prep before going on floors, and that begins in 2025. ## Parashurama is the sixth avatar among the Dashavatara of the god Vishnu. He is one of the Chiranjivis (Immortals), who will appear at the end of the Kali Yuga to be the guru of Vishnu's tenth and last incarnation, Kalki. ## The movie will be directed by Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik and will hit the big screens on Christmas 2026. Mumbai, June 25 - Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films has scored a big box office win in the form of the comedy-drama film "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke" starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. ## Directed by Laxman Utekar, ZHZB has crossed the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office on its 4th Saturday, becoming the 6th Bollywood movie of the year to do so. It is only the second film of Vicky Kaushal as well as Sara Ali Khan to hit 100 crores worldwide gross as lead stars. ## ZHZB has so far scored 76.14 crores net or 89.90 crores gross collection in 23 days. Overseas, the movie has grossed an estimated 10.50 crores, which takes the total worldwide collection to 100.40 crores approx. and emerged as a superhit venture for the makers. ## The movie has shown a stronghold so far despite the competition from other movies. In its opening week, ZHZB grossed 44.10 crores domestically, followed by 30.30 crores in the second week and 11.30 crores in the 3rd week. In its 4th weekend so far, the movie has grossed 4.20 crores. ## ZHZB star stars Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles alongside Sushmita Mukherjee, Rakesh Bedi, and Sharib Hashmi, among others in key roles. Mumbai, June 19 - Maddock Films' decision to go with the traditional way is reaping rich rewards as its latest comedy-drama film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has turned out to be a big box office success. ## At one point, this Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan-fronted movie was in the line of going direct-to-digital way, but better sense prevailed and now, as things stand today, it has grossed around 95 crores at the worldwide box office, including approx. 10 crores overseas, in 20 days.## The success of ZHZB has taken the trade by surprise as no one was ready to give it a chance to survive beyond the weekend. Due to its desi flavor, the movie met with positive word of mouth, plus no real competition helped it as it to gross over 80 crores worldwide in the first two weeks.## The first two weeks were the best chance for the movie to earn as much as it could. It scores a jump of around 20% today, the second Sunday as compared to yesterday's collection. ## As per the early estimates, ZHZB scored around 6.75 crores net collection on its second Sunday, which takes the total collection to 53 crores net in 10 days. The second-weekend collection of the movie is around 16 crores net, which is just around 30% less than the opening weekend. ## ZHZB is trending really well at the box office, and as expected, it scored a fantastic second-weekend collection. The movie has at least 4 more days before Adipurush arrives on June 16, and on these days, it can collect another 7-9 crores net collection. The final number may vary by a few lacs here and there but the movie has done really well to put up such collections. ## The big jump in the collection today takes the total cume of ZHZB to over 46 crores net and it will be breaching the 50 crores net by tomorrow, the second Sunday.
