
Netflix Top 10: Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Raniganj' Emerged as Most Watched Non-English Film Worldwide On Netflix On December 4-10 Week
Mumbai, December 13 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's rescue thriller Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue was the most-watched non-English film worldwide on Netflix during the week of December 4 - December 10, and also crossed 10 million viewing hours in the first 10 days. ## Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, "Mission Raniganj" scored 5.7 million viewing hours from 2.5 million views on Netflix during the said week. It was the 5th most-watched non-English title on the streamer in its opening weekend with 5.5 million viewing hours from 2.4 million views.## The total viewing hours of the movie are now 11.20 million from 4.9 million views. The film is trending in the top 10 in 14 countries, including number 1 in India, Oman, and Pakistan. Outside Asia, "Mission Raniganj" is trending at number 10 in Nigeria and number 6 in Mauritius. ## Meanwhile, Zoya Akhtar's "The Archies" which was directly released on Netflix on December 7, scored 5.2 million viewing hours from 2.2 million views in its opening weekend and was the third most-watched non-English film worldwide. The movie received poor reviews from critics and OTT audiences. ## Another Indian film in the top 10 was Bhumi Padnekar and Shehnaaz Gill's "Thank You for Coming" at number 7.
